I liked this book almost as much as Can's MBA 2.0.
Even if your not an employer, CEO or entrepreneur, you'll gain something useful from Cool Boss: Master 11 Qualities of Today's Greatest Leaders.

It is paramount in today's business environment that corporate and even small business leaders, tailor their approach to the various personalities of their staff and adapt to changes that are constantly occurring.

A One Size Fits all approach doesn't cut it in today's market.where dissatisfied employees, will hurt the bottom line and/or explore other employment opportunities. Seldom do workers keep the same job for life anymore.

What I especially liked about the book was the macro approach taken by Akdeniz. In other words the big picture on how a successful boss can make a difference in society and even leave a legacy.

While obviously being profitable is most important, leaders need to think beyond just the balance sheet.

No sources mentioned. Here goes another advise to be a cool boss: Give credit to those who help you. Saying "... it is a cumulative work of information gained from numerous sources, including company profiles, individual employees, and corporate leaders, as well as academic articles..." without mentioning ANY sourrce is not professional. If I had read this before I would not have bought nor read it.
