Othman Puteh merupakan seorang penulis Malaysia. Othman Puteh dilahirkan pada 5 Januari 1944 di Kampung Kuala, Kuala Sungai Baru, Melaka.

Othman Puteh pernah mendapat pendidikan di MPSI, Tanjung Malim 1963 - 1964. Selepas itu, beliau telah melanjutkan pendidikannya dalam bidang bahasa di Institute Bahasa, Kesusteraan dan Kebudayaan Melayu, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Beliau aktif menulis dan sering menyumbang dalam majalah bulanan seperti Dewan Pelajar selain mengarang antologi dan novel.

Allahyarham Othman Puteh telah pulang ke rahmatullah pada tanggal 19 Oktober 2003.

I read the English version of the book, translated by ITBM. I was hoping the story could offer a good story for juvenile readers but sadly, it didn't work out for me. Everything seemed vague and the storyline is as confused and miserable as the Traveller, the main character himself. There are several noteworthy issues highlighted in the story such as deception, unjust treatment on plantation workers, protests & hunger strike. Nevertheless, this is the author's debut novel.
