I have always felt alone, lost and lonely. I've never fit in. I know, however, that I'm not the only person who have felt misunderstood and confused. There have been others. We've all struggled through the feeling of constant confusion, of not fitting in and not understanding why we are the way we are. All of that changed when I realized it was because I was autistic. I was trying to fit in with neurotypicals I couldn't relate to, and knowing that made all the difference. This book was written for all those who have felt the way I did. It is a journey of understanding why we are the way we are, what others need to understand about us, and how we can all make the world a better, live able place.
