I just picked up this pop-up book for Jack (almost two years) at the DI a few weeks ago (Score!!), and he is obsessed with it. I keep it up high on the bookshelf so he won't ruin it, and he begs for me to get it down all constantly. He especially likes when Pika comes out from behind the rock. He squeals and pretends that it scares him. Too cute.
Like Kippy the Koala this book too lends itself well to story time or one time reading. It is fun to find the animals hiding in the flaps but the story doesn't really stand alone once you know what is there. Great to read once... then move along to something else.
