Lorena Vega knows better than to have anything else to do with Matthew Hawthorne. Then he comes to her and asks for her help in writing a proposal for a grant to benefit the community center where he volunteers. She agrees to do the work, but she has her guard up, because having Matthew in her life again is a problem she doesn’t need.
Matthew still carries some guilt from when he hurt Lorena. Seeing her again for the first time in months makes him realize what a huge mistake he made, and he wants another chance to be the kind of man she deserves. He’s determined to win her back and prove he’s not the player he used to be, and nothing will stand in his way.

A goodie. This was a for real true romance read. Matt and Lorena had their small rollercoaster ride of love. For a man like Matt who said he was not getting married and settling down he surely proved himself wrong quickly! Love bit him twice. I love a series that catches you up with the previous family members.
Here Comes Trouble is the third story in the Hawthorn Family series. It is the Story of the youngest brother, Matthew and the one he let get away, Lorena. Matthew and Lorena's chemistry is so strong it leaps off the pages. The book is not very long but it is short, sweet and to the point. The book did not need to be long to get the story across. There was also a really AWESOME character in the book that you are just going to LOVE(Lol) I am so excited to read the final book in the Hawthorn series. Winter 2013 can't get here fast enough. Great job Delaney Diamond on another great book in this series.
Thoroughly enjoyed this read. It was short and to the point. Matthew, I so didn't expect him to turn out the way he did, it was a welcome surprise. He and Lorena were simply on fire! Their love scenes were off the chart. Talk about hot and sensual these two took the cake. It was nice catching up with the rest of the Hawthorne clan. Roarke and Celeste expanded their family, and even Derrick and Eva with her finding and connecting with her father. I am really enjoying this series, and can't wait to read more.
I finally get around to posting this review. I loved this quick read with excitment and more Hawthorn Family drama. I had been waiting to get the full story behind Lorena and Matthew. The scoop was well worth the wait.
I enjoyed reading Here Comes Trouble. Matthew couldn't believe that spending three months with Lorena could turn his world upside down. And Lorena was still trying move on and get pass the hurt Matthew cause. Faith has a way of making people see true.
This story was amazing. Loved Matt’s energy and the way he loved Loreana. His determination was one for the books! Can’t wait to read the rest of this series!
Short, sweet, and sexy. Matt and Lorena has tons of chemistry. Second chance romances are fun as you read about a couple learning , changing , and growing together. They definitely did that. 😊
The love Matt and Lorena had was HOT, your first real love for them both. She want love like her parents’ and he seen how love can hurt or even kill like his parent’s. Matt tried to save her for the real love he felt, but he seen the grass wasn’t greener on the other side. When Lorena got her new boo Matt couldn’t take anymore of his foolishness. He had to get her back and quick, but her new Boo Thang wasn’t any good and played dirty. I had wish Matt coulda got in oh boy’s a$$ one more time lol. Now this hoe Reshemah was nothing but TROUBLE! I’m glad she didn’t bring to much mess to their lives. I so LOVED the kitty talk with his niece (talk about the mouth of a child). Funny stuff there, I can’t to see what happen next with this family. I need to know what goin on with the sister and her husband, something ain’t right about them.
I thought Derrick fell like the Titanic, however I don't know I think Matthew may have fell harder. He was so intense, steadfast and unmovable. No matter what happened (and there were quite a few things conspiring against them) he stayed single focus was to prove he was worth the chance. Lorena truly didn't make it easy for him either....that Latin temper of hers was something else. The whole family came back together and made appearances in the book and it was only enhanced the story more. I truly didn't want this one to end. Its definitely a Must read!! I only have one nagging question...What's really going on with Cassidy and Antonio? I sensed a bit of friction. I surely hope we get a follow up on the Hawthrone Family...I love this series.
I just finished the book it was a quick, easy, and good I loved they chemistry between Matthew and Lorena, the determination that Matt used to go after Lorena was sexy as hell. I could feel the heat of his swagger coming of the page. I liked the name Linus/Lewis I cracked up every time he ca;;ed him that.Little Arianna was so cute when she was teaching him about how to win a kitties trust. Matt proved to be a good student he used what he learned from her to get his woman back. One of the best parts of this book with me was the encounter with Reshemah Wright, it felt good to see my friend as a character in this book. This is a very enjoyable read can't wait to read more about the Hawthornes.
I love this series. And this book is another great edition. I HATE that I have to wait until winter 2013 for the next story, because I am really excited about it now.
I loved how Lorena stood up for herself, even if it was hard for her to do. She loved Matt with her whole heart, but didn't just let him off the hook. That's my favorite kind of heroine. One who loves with her whole heart, but keeps her mind and knows when the hero needs his ass whipped!
I really, really like this series! Awesome chemistry between Matthew and Lorena. Matthew finally realizes he made a huge mistake when he broke up with Lorena because he was afraid he was falling too deep, too quickly. But what really hurt Lorena is that Matthew did not discuss their relationship face-to-face, he dumped her via a text message! Who does that? Should Lorena give Matthew a second chance? Does he even deserve one? Great story!
Another great story, the love triangle was interesting. Why does it take the advances of another for these guys to get it together? Too little too late. I love it!
Just finished book three of the Hathwthorne series, each book gets better and better. Gonna finish up with Cassidys story in book four. Marriage troubles, no marriage is perfect, it takes a lot of work.
Didn't feel rushed and the chemistry was really good but it just felt like it was lacking something . But that won't stop me from giving this series one more shot
