Disillusionment: The Doorway to Present Moment Clarity

Rate this book
from amazon.com

Do we possess an individual self or soul that is separate from our physical biology or are we simply an enormously complex biological network that mechanically produces our hopes, aspirations, dreams, desires, humor, and passions?

Disillusionment provides provocative insights into this ages-old question and challenges the reader to re-examine their most closely held beliefs.

Roy Melvyns words are wise and helpful.Comments that are character assassination say everything about the writer than about Roy Melvyn.Based on his wrings ,he was an awake, aware, wise person.Rest in peace ...

I am disillusioned that someone who holds himself out as an expert on Buddhism can be such a fraud. It didn't take me long after reading a bit of Roy's book or his website to realize this. His writing was such BS that I did some checking on him. This was not easy!! For a writer of many books, he seemed to come out of nowhere with no history, no past anywhere. I don't think he wants anyone to be able to trace him, but I learned that his real name is Roy Sidewitz, that he has no degrees in anything that I could find, but has a criminal record. Where did he get his alleged degrees? He never says because they probably don't exist. I believe that everyone deserves to have a second chance, but how can you hold yourself out as a Buddhist when Right Speech is the exact opposite of what you practice? He has found a trusting group to prey upon. Talk about disillusionment!
