Corrupted Temptation est le deuxième livre indépendant de la série Les Rois de la Mafia : Corrupted. Il n'est pas nécessaire de lire les autres livres avant celui-ci. Raven is out for revenge against the people that she thinks wronged her. Nico is the eldest son of a rival family and s tool in her revenge plan.

I loved the spice and tension this author brought to the plot. Although, the beginning felt a bit rushed in establishing the relationship because they knew each other as kids, once she found her stride the author was able to convey a captivating and gripping mafia story.

This is the second book in an interconnected series and, although not required, I would suggest reading book one, so you are not thrown in the deep end. I enjoyed the book enough to go back and read book one in the series while book three is published.

Omg, I need more! This book was amazing, it was so hard to put down. There was so much action, heart, spice, and everything you need for a perfect mafia romance book! I couldn’t get enough of Raven && Nico. I’m glad I got to see a little of the characters from book one but Raven && Nico were the stars of the show && they didn’t disappoint! We see the monster that Nico can be but when it comes to Raven we get to see another side, a side that Nico doesn’t think he can have. I love it all. Raven is the perfect heroine who is not only a virgin who is not experienced with men but she knows how to protect herself. She’s strong, loving, and fighter. I truly enjoyed the plot and how the story unfolds. It’s not your usual mafia romance plot and I’m glad Kiana gives us something different. This book gives you all the tropes you love in a mafia romance, virgin heroine, monster hero, family feuds, and delicious spice! Also, the spice in this book is worth it by itself. Each scene makes you want more! Going to try to patiently wait for book 3 because I can’t wait to see where Kiana Hettinger takes us next.

How can I start this? 🥺
It totally deserves 5 stars✨, this second instalment has turn in one of my favourite books of this year. It truly is a page turner! So gooooood!
The characters are very well developed and the tension it brings as you keep reading is insane, from the very first chapter it takes your hold attention.
The plot is very well written, the romance, the steamy scenes at the right timing, and the easiness in which you can read the book makes it pleasant.
It has that connection to the first book, of course, but as we continue with this book, it brings a lot of a different perspective that I did not expect.
If I recommend the book? Heck yeaaaaah! I want a Nico in my life🙋🏼‍♀️🌶🥺😉😜

Utterly amazing is how I would describe this book. It was a bit slow in the beginning as the plot was laid out but it sure got good in the middle! I could not put this book down and finished the last half of the book in one sitting.
"The way his lips wrapped around that last word sent a fresh rush of arousal through me."

"The past is the past for a reason. It's meant to stay behind you, not lead you."
I will definitely read more books by this author now that I have found her work!.

Now that I thoroughly enjoyed. Not a five star as I didn't get to read about the reunion with Bullet!

Loved Raven and Greta's fiestiness they made me smile, the back story came through smoothly and was somewhat plausible though TBH a tad extreme.

Some very hot pages which are very readable. All in all an enjoyable book. Now I am off to read the bonus chapter and hunt down book 1.

Love this author! This is the second book I’ve read from the author and the second in the series, I couldn’t get enough of this story. This is a series I wouldn’t mind going on forever, there’s so many people and potential for more. I’m loving the dark mafia world, might have found my new trope. It’s not dark enough to scare you like some others I’ve read but it’s gruesome at times like an action movie. The heat between these two is 🔥.

I loved the first book in the series but this one became my new favourite, I can not wait for the third book.
I felt the storyline progression improved with this book.
It was a great mafia story, guns, knives, alphahole, touch her a die vibes, a badass herorine who can stand on her own and the spice.
Nico and Raven were great, the relationship progression was good.
She has been lied to, he was brought up to push emotions aside. But both overcome their issues. She broke down his walls and he completed her.
I would definitely recommend, action packed storyline and spice what more could you want!.

I loved Corrupted Temptation! This mafia romance was full of revenge, secrets and fated love. Corrupted Temptation is the second book in the Mafia Kings: Corrupted series. They are all interconnected standalones.

Raven has been raised by her uncle Vito after believing that her entire family died in a fire. She learns that her entire life has been a lie when she sees a news report announcing her mother’s actual death. She decides that she wants to get revenge on the family that abandoned her and cast her aside. She believes the Costa family can help her. Raven is such a badass! I loved her strength and watching her character grow as she learns the truth of what happened to her.

Nico is the oldest son of the Costa family. Originally, he was going to bring the Costa and Luca families together through marriage until the Luca’s only daughter died in a fire. When he meets Raven, he is instantly drawn to her. Nico is a playboy who isn’t known for seeing women more than once, but he can’t get Raven out of his head. He knows Raven isn’t exactly what she seems, but that doesn’t stop him from going after her.

Nico and Raven have amazing chemistry. This book is spicy! I loved watching all of Raven’s secrets unravel. There were so many secrets and nothing was as it seemed.

I’m really looking forward to the next book in this series!

Oh, the twisted, interwoven Mafia families and their manipulations. The unplanned meeting of Raven & Nico leads to secrets coming out & more Mafia power plays. Is Nico a monster? All Mafia men are evil monsters, aren't they. I'm sure some of them are, but most, like you & me, are people with feelings & insecurities hiding under all the alpha bravado. Finding the right woman (or witch?) can uncover the great man inside. And even more important will be their smoking HOT chemistry! You will need a cold drink for this one. ;-)

I did not read Book 1, but I don't feel I missed anything.

Seriously, all the things you want in a dark Mafia romance can be found right here. Read this book! Kudos Kiana, kudos!

Corrupted Temptations is a stand-alone story with a happy ending, but I would definitely recommend reading the books in order to get the full world, character, and family building story and experience. The book prior to this is Corrupted Heir. It is worth the read!

Nico and Raven are just perfection ❤️. The plot twists definitely had me continuously turning pages and at some points, even bitting my nails. The character building is on point. There are characters you will absolutely love and characters that will bring the anger and disgust out of you. If you like action packed, plot twists, drama, secrets, betrayal, suspense... possessive, all consuming love! (🔥🌶Yes please!) I would highly recommend this book. Kiana is definitely one of my new favorite insta-buy authors. Can't wait for the next book in this series!.

Soo did enjoy this book, it had all the things you’d expect. But there were once again just missing elements which at times felt so frustrating. This isn’t the first time where a mafia boss/ a guy who basically runs the city, meets a woman who he falls for, and you want to tell me he didn’t monitor her, get a thoroughly and detailed background check on everything about her???

So often in these books we are told just how powerful these men are, yet somehow it’s all forgotten as soon as a woman’s in the picture?

Corrupted Temptation is well-written. The story catches you and keeps you turning pages to follow the characters with several plot twists I did not see coming. Most authors disappoint me with how sex scenes are written. Kiana does a great job incorporating both the physical and emotional as Nico and Raven's relationship develops. I do wish the book had more about Raven getting reacquainted with her family. The end was kind of abrupt. If you enjoy gritty romance with some plot twists and turns, you will love this book.

I was excited to see a glimpse of the Luca men. Getting to know the Costa men. Nico and Raven had this angsty attraction to their relationship and Nico was sinfully delicious. He was damaged, dark, and dangerous and I was all for it. The steamy scenes didn’t disappoint.🔥🌶️ 🔥🌶️ I loved watching the way Nico changed for love. His devotion to his family and her. How he secretly just wanted something good when he thought he didn’t deserve it.

This book is delicious. I have yet to read the first book in the series, and after I finished with this, I want to read first book and the rest of the author's books. This book is a standalone in a series. Just the right amount of plots, and spice. The balance is there, that is what I like. I finished this in one sitting, no lie.

Nico and Raven (later known as Sofia), met one night after Raven's planning took place. Nico, you can probably guess how is he, a hot, single, mob boss, and Raven, a mafia princess lost to their world. Raven knows how to fight, courtesy to her uncle, you can sort of know she is not your typical meek heroine.

Coming from two 'rival' mafia family, their love story is another twisted Romeo and Juliet, forbidden but not so forbidden.

I really like their balance, and counter act, they are besotted to each other, but didnt acknowledged it. At first, it was kind of confusing for me because their surname sound a lot like first name. Luca. Costa. Nova. Luaciano. When I get used to it, it doesnt bother me anymore.

Another thing that bugged me at first is, after sex scene where he used condom, he just continue to do something else without any mention of disposing it. I cannot remember which chapter, but it was at the club, after they were done, he just zipped and went to close the door. I was like, ehhhhh. But, this only happen once or twice in the book, so it doesnt matter. Its just me.

I like a few quotes from this book, they talk to me. But these two stuck the most.

From author's note;

And another is from Tomasso, repeated a few times in the book;

“The past is the past for a reason. It’s meant to stay behind you, not lead you,”

If you like mafia romance, with some spice and plot, read this. You wont regret it. I regret that I'd only discovered this author now.

From the get go I was hooked! The storyline is incredibly intriguing and exciting, and I just couldn’t put this book down! It’s written so well that at no point did I question the authenticity of the story. It was cohesive, engaging, filled with darkness, and light, and everything in between. It never got too dark, but there were some dark elements.

I know there are a lot of tropes associated with Mafia stories, kidnapping, physical, mental and emotional abuse, arranged marriage, enemies to lovers, families at war, betrayal, manipulation, etc., and this book has elements of all of those things, but not in a typical way. The surprises make this book special.

5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.

4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.

3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.

2 ⭐️s= Not offended by the story, but not interested enough to finish. Unbelievable characters, poor writing, many mistakes, big holes or discrepancies, many spelling or grammatical errors, characters not believable, unlikeable or TSTL.

1 ⭐️= Offensive, extremely poor writing, horrible characters, victimization, gaslighting, blatant abuse, unnecessary violence, child endangerment, or any other highly objectionable behaviors by Main characters. Would never buy this book, and do not recommend it to anyone.

This is the second book in the Mafia Kings Corrupted series buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha personified, possessive, oh, so gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a deliciously story 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, arranged marriage, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe love.
Once you start this reverse harem you won’t stop even when you know you have things to do so by the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
Nico sexy as all get out monster who doesn’t feel he has the ability to love outside of his family who he will protect with his life, if need be, he is ruthless without a thought and he will stop at nothing to get who he wants, when he wants them right now it is the beauty that just walked into his club. Raven highly intelligent, innocent a little out of the water when it comes to men since she has never had experience with one, but she is strong, stands up for herself, feisty and out for revenge after her family was killed. The moment they meet the attraction is instant, it is intense and the magnetic pull is so strong what she doesn’t know is that he isn’t going to let her go but what is going to do is get to the bottom of who she really is and who she is after but will she get her revenge, will he help her, will he get the girl, can she trust him and can they find happiness?.

I absolutely loved this book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were intriguing. The characters Nico Costa and Raven Ferrari both have lots of secrets. Raven was taken from home in New York with Vito believing her whole family died in a fire, her name was changed and now living in California. Vito has been like a father to her he has even been teaching her self-defence. Nico owns a nightclub and decided that he needs a lay so he starts looking at all the women dancing when he noticed Raven she was looking at him at the same time. Nico starts to walk over when a man wanted to talk to him she knew the man but didn'tsay anything. Raven wants revenge for the death of her family, but forgets all about it when she ogless Nico. The chemistry between these two is pretty hot, she feels the heat pooling between her thighs, he turns her on by looking at him, she turns him on like no other ever has. Will she come to her senses and stop anything from happening. Nico talks to his mum and she told him a secret that could change everything with his family, what will happen when secrets come out. Who is going to pay for the deaths that has happened between the two families that their grandparents were best friends.

I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!
I couldn't wait for this book to come out but it wasn't what I expected. I was expecting a continuation of Dominic and Fallon or possibly Leo but this was so much more and I absolutely loved it! The mystery and suspense was enough to make it impossible for me to put it down. The more I read the more consumed I became. It's exciting and intense and there are surprises around every corner. Nico Costa is a big bad@ss alpha and I'm in love. Raven is a beautiful young woman who has unbeknownst to her been living a lie for most of her life. When she gets some really shocking news then th rollercoaster ride begins. When here two meet there's an instant attraction. As their attraction grows things really start to heat up. I mean off the charts, set you crotch on fire smokin hot! WOW! I have to admit when Raven first gets to NY with Greta I thought the way she acted about her family sounds kind of childish, she sounded like a spoiled brat. At times I was bouncing in my seat with excitement. I cannot wait for th next book, I can't wait to see where the families go next. This book had me constantly guessing but when th truth comes out as to who's behind the killings it was not even close to who thought it might be. I freakin loved th ending and I can't even begin to know what to expect next. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES TO EVERYONE!

At the end of the book #1 we found out Sofia, the Ferrari daughter, was alive and did not die eleven years ago. In this book we didn't expect to meet a strong beauty named Raven who is the same the same person as Sofia. Nico Costa, who's strong in his own rights in the mafia Costa family, believes
he doesn't have time for relationships. Little does Raven and Nico know their destiny was made years ago for them, why was made, who wanted to break them apart and why are they drawn to each other, now? Is it destiny or love?

This book has action, twists and turns, just enough things are unpredictable to keep your interest, steamy hot romance, it's entertaining so you'll keep turning your page until the last one. I hadn't read the first book when I agreed to advance read this book so I purchased book #1 and read it (which is excellent). It helped me to understand Raven's family and where the other mafia families fit, but you can read this book by itself and enjoy it. This is a delightful thing mafia romance!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "CORRUPTED TEMPTATION" OMG!!! This was such an interesting, entertaining, suspense dark filled drama, action, secrets, steamy scenes, revenge, angst, twist making it so you can't put down until finished hooked to the end.
Nico Costa owns a Nighclub he's a monster, sexy as sin, charming, dark, but he's nothing like his father
years of peace all it takes is one thing to start a war between the Costa & Luca Family years before a marriage alliance was had but never happened.
Raven Ferrari had secrets wanted revenge for the death of her family when she finds out she was lied to all her life getting wrong info she acts without thinking plans to her own revenge.
Costa & Raven aka Sophia meet at his Club theres an immediate attraction something he hadn't felt in a long time & Raven is so taken with him she forgets about her revenge in the moment she brings the best out in him.
I definitely recommend to get this book so well written love the characters Nico us having problems of his own he's suspicious of everyone but Raven passes his trust test will their relationship survive. When Nico finds out her secret she kept from him after trusting her what will happen you must get this book to see if they get their HEA you so won't be disappointed.

After reading Corrupted Heir I couldn't wait to find out what happened to Dante's sister, and I got my answers in Corrupted Temptation. I was surprised to find out what had happened to her, and my heart broke for her when she discovered the truth. There were more people involved in her disappearance then what I would have guessed. I like the twists the author puts into the story. Raven is one tough girl and has been trained well. I loved Nico and that he might be mean, but he is nothing like his father. I think Raven is the perfect match for Nico, she can challenge him when needed and show him love. The author does a great job with her descriptions of all the characters. I can picture them in my head, and she wrote about their personalities perfectly. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and didn't want to stop reading it. I would have been okay had it been longer! I wish there had been a little more in the book with Raven and her family. I felt like sometimes it was a little rushed. The book though was great it had romance, spice and action!

Raven having discovered she had been living a lie, sets out with a plan for revenge against her family in getting close to the rival Costa family, that puts her in the path of Nico. Nico is a man no one wants to cross, his loyalty to his family is first even if he doesnt see eye to eye with his father. Meeting Raven stirs something deep within him, but whose about to play whose game? Will Ravens truth be revealed? Will she get the revenge she seeks and at what cost? Does someone else have another plan? A well written, highly detailed, engaging, steamy, action packed with violence, mafia romance, a Romeo and Juliet theme with a twist. The story has you hooked from the start, with twists andbturns that keep you on your toes and characters that make you feel every scene and emotion. A great addition to the series!

This was an exceptional book! I'm not just saying that because I got the book for my review. This story is one like I never heard before.

The beginning of the book said it was like a Romeo and Juliet type book. So, with that in mind I thought the ending would've been different.

I'm not going to do any spoilers but the characters were amazing!! Great chemistry between the MCs. My heart broke in some places. I didn't cry but I have horrible book hangover from this book. I could really relate to the characters.

The only thing I had a problem with, which may not bother other people, was that I have 3 kids and a husband that talk my ear off all day. I kinda had a problem keeping the characters straight and had to think about whom was related to whom and had to think back to other parts of the story to remember who had done what.

There was a lot of jumping around but if you can keep the story straight in your head it was fantastic. Thank you for allowing me to read your fantastic book and work of art for my review. I hope I can help you again in the future.

I'm really digging this new author and enjoyed book 2 of the Mafia Kings series- which is interconnected with Book 1, featuring Dominic's long thought dead sister Sofia (Raven) who comes to LA looking for the family who she believes cast her aside many years before. She thought they were dead too, but learns they are alive and well, her oldest brother now happily married. She crosses paths with Nico, who at first doesn't know who she is and thinks her to be another pretty Italian girl who can be his newest conquest. The book starts a little slow for me with a lot of background story (unlike book 1, which got moving pretty quick), but once it got going it definitely got going! The second half had plenty of action, spice and engaging storytelling that I flew right through it. I loved some of the side characters (especially Greta) and hope to see them in future books! Looking forward to checking out book 3 this winter!.

This book two was an action packed story filled with new characters and ones from book one. I feel Raven aka Sophia was a little underdeveloped. She is a young adult, early twenties and yet behaves without thinking things through. When she found out the secret of her life, she jumped to the wrong conclusion without confirming the information. Her anger lead her to some dangerous actions. Nico definitely was a man's man. Decisive, direct, honest, handsome, charismatic, and an excellent leader.

The book is a page-turner. Plenty of drama and action that will keep you glued to each page. What was surprising and unexpected was the reveal of the villains of the book. The other surprising reveal is why Sophia became Raven.

A very good book. I do recommend it.

Loved Nico and Raven’s story. It’s very emotional when Raven realizes everyone lied to her, she didn’t lose her whole family 11 years ago in a fire. We see her struggle when she realizes the Luca family knows she’s alive and they never looked for her, nobody wants her. Raven sets out to show them she’s worth loving and saving as she and her friend Greta set out on a mission. I love Nico, he’s a man who knows what he wants and he can’t seem to forget Raven. Nico is having trouble of his own and is suspicious of everyone. She passes his trust test, but he doesn’t trust very many people. I love how Raven brings out the best in Nico, a side that proves he’s not quite the monster he believes he is. Will their new romance survive when Nico fids out she’s keeping a big secret she’s keeping from everyone, especially him. Nico and Raven’s story is perfection. I loved both of their characters, how Nico is a hardened man and keeps his feelings under wraps, hard for him to open up to anyone. Hardened due to his father, he leads his family mafia business and is a one night stand kind of man. Enter Raven who has recently found out her mother whom she thought died in a fire many years ago was alive (along with the rest of her family) but was killed by a mafia enemy (it is how the last book ends). Raven is actually Sofia, Dominic’s sister who they thought died.

Thinking her family didn’t want her, she decides to seduce a Costa man to exact her revenge… she falls into Nicos arms and bed and the rest is a thrilling mess of desire, enemies, danger and two people falling helplessly for one another.

Highly recommend and can’t wait for the next one!.

Greta tried to be her voice of reason, but this was something she felt she needed to do. I would have liked to see more of a reconciliation, reunion between her, her brothers, and her father.
