Danica Parker is attracted to a man at her firm: Marco Reyes—someone on her staff. When it comes to her career, she’s always made the right decisions. Rather than risk her heart and her career with a sexual harassment complaint, she plays it cool whenever the sexy Director of Finance is nearby.
Marco Reyes has been attracted to Danica from day one, but she’s never given an inkling she can tolerate his presence, much less express interest. When Valentine’s Day arrives, Marco tries a new tactic. She may be his boss, but she’s also a woman. And Marco knows how to charm a woman.

This was a very short, sweet and cute romance. I really enjoyed it, I thought Marco was very sexy and his persuit of Danica made him muy caliente, what he did for Danica on valentines day was sooooo sweet. Danica very strong woman great to read about. The chase is what did it for me mainly in the book, Marco has be working for Danica for 8 months now and he is very attracted to her and is trying his hardest to get her attention, while Danica is feeling attracted to Marco she is trying to maintain a strick working relationship by keeping Marco at arms lent.
Would surely recommend good read for me and look forward to reading more from the author.

2.00 stars. There is little in the way of character development or plot; just sex. Danica Parker, CEO of the firm, and Marco Reyes, a subordinate employee are physically attracted to each other and one night after work during a storm they have at it.
Even the audiobook is just 30 minutes so ... It's hard to rate - cuz this is short short short
But like ... C-? It was a cute quickie office romance. [And as we all know I love me a smitten hero] so... yeah
The ending is a bit abrupt - even for a short
I really liked that Danica is the boss - or at least further up the office hierarchy than Marco. He's also super sweet and observant, bringing her dinner from her favorite place, and flowers <3
I loved this short story!! Marco and Danica had so much sexual chemistry between them. She hid her attraction from him well. He on the other hand, followed her around like a lost puppy. Seeking her attention. On Valentines Day, their chemistry finally exploded. Marco decided once and for all, to “bite the bullet” and go for it. When he did, he found out his feelings were reciprocated. Their sex scene was hot and heavy! I’m just glad they got dressed and got out before the cleaning crew arrived! I would love to know if their relationship lasted!! Thanks Delaney Diamond, for another great story!! ❤️🔥
Marco hmmm persistent paid off. You have to appreciate the will power of Danica. But as it goes when the heart yearns for something it usually happens.
It was a good story to get the imagination going for lunch but not make a person a quivering mess for work. It was fun and just enough without being over the top.
I enjoyed this short story...I would of loved to read more about Danica and Marco..I loved his persistence with her...I'm not a fan of short stories....but this one was pretty good...
