Addison's Release is book number 2 in this series by Leia Madison, and picks up where the first books ends, so I highly recommend reading book 1 - Autum's Lost.

Addison Baxter has survive in one lifetime more than any one person should. That's an understatement actually. She's still grieving the loss of her daughter, Autumn and trying to come to terms with the lies and secrets her abusive husband, Curt had kept from her. Bombshell type secrets that have the power to destroy lives and rip families apart.
I firmly believe that there is a special place in hell for men like Curt, I'm at a complete loss on how to describe him, and nothing nice comes to mind. So I'm going with the saying "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all."

The only way to move forward is to let go of the past, so she files for divorce and puts the family home up for sale, determined to make a new life for herself and grieve her loss. Somewhere in between grieving and building her new life Michael Crestmoore comes along. Or as the romantic in me likes to believe, he came along when Addison needed him most :)

Michael is in love with Addison and determined to do anything to make her happy. He becomes Addison's rock - life's crunches is just easier to deal with when he's around. She wants that new life, with Michael - one that's filled with love, laughter and a happily ever after, but can she get past all the hurt and pain she's endured to grab it? or will Curt's jealousy and hurt ruin it? You'll have to read to find out.

This is a highly emotional read. Its filled with pain and heartache, tears and anger and at times it will leave you wanting to throw your tablet across the room. It will leave you wanting to wrap your arms around Addison and let her know that everything is going to be ok. It will leave you wanting to kick Curts ass around the room before leaving karma to deal with him completely.

A ***** star emotional read

This is the sequel to AUTUM'S LOST by L. Madison. It is not completely necessary to read the first book in order to enjoy this one, but I would recommend it so you can get the full impact of the characters and the heartache, laughter and love they share. Addison is struggling to move on after the tragedy that changed her life forever. She is building a new life, new love and nurturing old friendships.
Michael only wants to make a life with Addison and help her to overcome her heartache. She is his angel. the love of his life. He loved her for years, now she can be his. He gives her his heart and all he has to offer, he can only hope it is enough to give her the strength she needs. He would battle all her demons if he could. The only problem is her demons cannot be slain by any physical strength.
Curt only wants his life to be over. He has lost all he ever wanted, He is drowning in drugs and self pity, Ending his life seems the only way out. Maybe then Addison will finally get what he feels she deserves, to be as miserable and unhappy as he is. But fate has other plans. He has to learn how to let go and start again. Face his own demons and raise a child, one that will never replace his darling Autum.

Make sure you read book one before you read this as this is a continuation. Sometimes I find it hard to review a book in a series as I don't want to drop any spoilers- this is one of them books.

I will say Addisons journey continues and it's heartbreaking. The author did a great job of portraying her pain. Will Addison drop her barriers and let Micheal in? I really disliked Curt.

Really great book that I highly recommend.

I received this book from the author, Leia Madison, and from Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock. Addison’s Release is the second book of two books written about Addison. This is a book for mature audiences due to some erotic scenes as well as violent scenes throughout the story. This story continues on with Addison’s struggles to deal with the loss of her daughter and getting away from her abusive ex-husband as well as figuring out her new life with Michael.

This book was good. The main issue I had with this story was that it was written from many different characters points of view. It was great in that it allowed us to see the story from a different point of view and find out things that we would not if the story was written from Addison’s point of view. But it was written from so many different characters that if I had to stop reading in the middle of a chapter I would have to go back to see whose view point this was so I could understand and follow the dialogues and such. For me this really made it harder to read and enjoy this story.

I’m giving this book 3 fangs.

ARC given for an honest review.

Addison's Release carries on straight from book 1 so make sure you read that first!

Addison is back and with her she brings the gorgeous Michael....hell yeah. He is fine! ;-)

Addison Baxter is a fighter and after what she has already been through she deserves a little happiness....and that happiness comes in the form of Michael.
Michael has been in love with Addison for years  and it wasn't until she left her sorry excuse for a scumbag husband that she finally realised the extent of Michaels feelings toward her.

Michael makes Addison happy and helps her to overcome the tragedies she has to deal with. Will Michael be able to show Addison exactly how she deserves to be treated or will a little secret he has been hiding make her run for the hills?

I loved this book so much.  It flowed well and had me gripped from the start. It is a sad but beautiful story of tragedy,  grief, loss and eventually love, happiness and loads of freaking sex.

Well done Leia on a fantastic book! Can't wait to see what you've got for us next.

Addison's Release... such a fitting title! Leia Madison wrote such a stellar follow up to Autumn's Lost!

Addison lost her only child in a a horrific car accident and now she is ready to move forward with her life and that means without the man who caused her so much hurt, her abusive, drug addicted husband, Curt. This book was such an emotional read and Leia did an amazing job conveying it. My heart broke and mended with Addison's, thanks to Leia's powerful words.

I absolutely fell in love with Michael. He was the perfect answer to all of the questions Addison had about where her life was going. He was there for her to lean on when she was unsure, to protect her when things got rough and to love her through the worst times in her life. They always say "friends make the best lovers" and I do believe Leia showed us that in this book. Although we know that Addison will never forget the heartbreak of losing her daughter, no reader can deny that Michael helped dull the pain. And their sex life, jeeze, how hot was that?

Jesalynn, Addison's best friend, was also a great asset to this story. She never felt the need to lie to Addison, even if it meant calling her out on her crap. She did grieve with her but made sure she didn't stop living. And when it came to divorcing her douche of a husband, Jesalyn was the perfect friend to lean on. She added so much humor and strength to Addison's Release, and I am sure I can speak for everyone when Leia wrote the perfect best friend.

I really did enjoy Addison's Release. Leia's writing style paired with a great plot made this a book I will definitely recommend! Great Job, Leia!!

Plot Line- emotional
Author's Writing Style- great flow
Female Character - Strong, Resilient
Male Character - Loving
Plot Twist - A Few with a bit of suspense
Laugh Factor - I LOL'ed a few times
Cry Factor - I got teary but no where as bad as Autumn's Lost
Steam Factor - It did get STEAMY
Violence - Trigger warning!!

4 STARS!

This book was an emotional book series that started in book one (you should READ this before reading this book) and ended in this book. It was beautifully heart-breaking book written from a few point of views so you get the FULL impact of the story which was nice but confusing at times. This book made me smile, laugh, and want to scream a few times and possibly strangle a character or two.. This book has some twists and turns so be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions!

This is Addison's story. Picking up where book one left off, she is piecing together her life back about the loss of her daughter and kicking out the madness of her ex. As Addison is picking up the pieces, Michael storms into life and offers her a shoulder to lean on. Michael is in love with her and wants to be the person to help put her back together. As these two forge ahead and Michael slowly breaks down her walls, will they finally get their happy ending or will the past come back and ruin it all? Will Addison be able to let go of the past and give Michael a real chance? Will these two get their happy ending?

I loved Michael. As so sweet, kind, considerate, passionate and totally determined. I loved his persistence and not giving up when it gets tough. I also liked how he took his time and showed Addison true love and adoration. Such a beautiful man. I love them together. I loved watching Addison gain strength and get herself back.

I do recommend this book (along with book one).
I can't wait for future works from this author!

Addison's Release is the continuation of Autums Lost and I strongly suggest that you read the first book because Release picks up after Lost. Now Addison is desperately trying to make a life for herself after a tragedy that changed her life (see this is where you really will want to read Autums Lost).

Michael sweet Michael wants to have a life with Addison. He has waiting so long for her that he is willing to be everything and more to her. Michael wants the strength for Addison but at the same he is hoping that he is what Addison needs to move on with her life a life with him, them together.

Curt Addison's ex he's still in the picture. Now is Curt is lost in his own drama. He did so much damage control to Addison and now he can't seem to move on with his life after the death of his daughter and Addison filing for divorce. Curt now heads into a spiral downfall with drugs and depression and with thoughts of ending his now meaning less life so he seems.

So the story is can three people move forward with their lives, two together and one by himself to find Release.

WOW I thought that the first book was an awesome story but this book shows just as much heart as the first book. It is just as emotional, very caring, heart breaking and heart warming as Autum's Lost. I can not say enough great things about this book.

I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. This is book 2 of the Letting Go series by the author.
