Hell No...This Can't Be Love

Rate this book
A love story with plenty of drama and food for thought!

A man can only do to a woman what she allows. You see, we as women control how we are loved and treated by the opposite sex, so in my opinion, if you're getting mistreated by him, its simply your fault.
Me and Steven had been together four long years. I gave that boy my all. Note: there's a BIG difference between a Man and a Boy. My Steven? Definitely little boy status. Anyway, I helped build him up when all he knew was how to be a hood dude looking for his next come up. I showed him what it was like to be loved by a real woman. I was down for my boo, would do anything for my boo. Hell, I forgave and then I forgave him again for all of the pain he caused me. Damn, I was stupid. Hmph, but one day reality slapped me dead in the face and I said to myself, "Hell No...this Can't be Love." Did I mean it?

Janet is desperately in love with Steven aka Smooth,While Steven loves Janet he also loves being a player. Will Janet realize her self worth before it's too late? or,Does she remain complacent and continue to be Steven's doormat?

I enjoyed the drama in this book. There were a lot of messages in this book for ladies that settle instead of knowing what they are worth.Janet experiences what a lot of women go through while in a long term relationship. The flow of the book was steady and the ending gave food for thought.Good Job Aleta Williams & Queen Brown
