From the author of "Do As I Say" Almost a year has passed since Agent Mills returned to his home town of Phoenix, Arizona. He's moved in with the love of his life, and aside from having a boss with serious anger management issues, his new job with the Phoenix FBI office is going well. One might say that life in general is going good for Agent Mills, but as the saying goes, "Nothing good lasts forever." An encrypted message, from an unlikely source, leads Bennett into a late night stakeout in the Sonoran Desert where he witnesses the murder of a man who has already been dead for a year. While trying to unravel this mystery and prevent a deadly new drug from hitting the streets, Bennett will take a trip cross country. There he will join forces with an old adversary seeking redemption for his past. When his own existence puts those he loves in jeopardy, to what lengths will Bennett go to protect them?
Great story with suspense and lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing. I am getting to like the characters in the "Bennett Mills Mysteries" The author makes you feel part of the Mills family. I am hooked, and looking forward to the next in the series.
David A. Sterling is a great mystery writer. I hate to reach the end of one of his books. I would recommend his books to anyone who loves a great mystery.
