Il quitte son île au large de Seattle pour signer un contrat décisif, laissant derrière lui quelques personnes pour s’occuper de Simon, son fils de 11 ans, surdoué en informatique peu expansif, qui passe le plus clair de son temps sur des jeux en réseau. L’inconnu fait alors irruption, sur Internet comme dans la réalité, et l’île sauvage dans laquelle se déroule l’histoire, impose bientôt un huis clos étouffant, sur fond de manipulation, de vengeance et de trahison. Une opposition entre l’innocence et la ruse, la nature et la technologie, dont l’enjeu est aussi bien le secret de Greenlee que l’innocence de Simon. Le cyberespace peut être un piège. Peter Dixon helped to shape a culture of ocean enthusiasts. He was one of the creators of Flipper the dolphin, and wrote the first episode of the popular TV series. He is also the author of the biggest-selling surf book worldwide, The Complete Book of Surfing. Peter has written many other books and produced several documentaries.
