Continues the struggle of the Allliance and Indie fleets against the Khalian, and their mysterious backers, aggression. Authors tend to write the same characters with mutual overlap. It's a big universe and harder to keep consistent than a single city like thieves world, but the range of styles doesn't detract from the enjoyment.
