Loved! Perfect mix of romance, mystery and great writing

What a great read. Sam McCullen is an awesome leading man and stole the book for me! I loved him. He was funny and sweet and protective... I did not fully know all his secrets or why he was part of Alena's life so the mystery was added layers that intrigued me all the more about him. Alena's history is like nothing I've read as she suffered a stroke at a terrible moment two years ago that subsequently ruined her life and engagement. The story is well laid out with lots of clues and twists to keep one reading to figure out how it all plays out together. Several players add to the mystery and how it all works out is a surprise. Loved this story from start to finish!

undercover agent romances recovering stroke victim left emotionally fragile by the fiance who abandoned her...seems the fiance was a criminal and his cohorts in crime are looking for something they think he left with her.
