Children of Sophista #4

The Saeshell Book of Time, Part 4: The Ceremony of Life

Rate this book
True horror: a teen with the power to destroy whole planets? No, Stefan can do more than that. The Ceremony of Life reveals who everyone truly is: they are Stefan, Tova, and Aleah's toys. Tyco was born with a genetic flaw that must be fixed by the Lizards — creatures with no primate love who torture Tyco. Tova2 must help Stefan overcome his fears so he may use his Saeshell powers to rescue Tyco. How can Stefan and Tova2 fully use their talents to protect Earth without terrorizing the humans? Magic — magic is advanced science that humans don’t understand. Yet what does the rule of the wizards of Sophista portend for the Children of Sophista, the Fairies, the Saeshells, the Federation of the Twenty, and the humans — all those from which Stefan’s corporeal form was derived? Everyone fears the coming of the Sun Gods. Yet, Stefan and Aleah know something — something about the Sun Gods and Tova2.

When I received The Seashell Book of Time #4 in the mail, I literally screamed; "YAAAASSS!" I threw my bag to the side and ran upstairs. Once in bed, I grabbed my glasses and began to drift through the fantasy world of Rusty A. Biesele.
The colorful picture add life the two column words, it is vivid and amazing. Mr. Biesele is an amazing writer with a mindful of Sophista children - lol. I've never seen a book like this one. I loved it and fully recommend the series.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to read your book.

My son has been reading the whole series and loves it. He loves that with these books he can step into another world as if it's his own. Book 4 continued this for him. I remember hearing him say while reading it, "oh yeah now that makes sense". LOL I loved how he was so into reading it at the time that it didn't seem as if he even knew he was talking out loud. I personally have enjoyed watching him read this series. Rusty has a very unique way of capturing a child's attention and holding it. As with the first few installments of the series, my son loved this one too. He said, "Give this one 5 stars too". :)

Book 4 goes into much more detail into the lives of tyco,ty and elof2 as well as their genetic past, such as the scilerienes, and how they made themselves a part of tyco's genetic code. Elof 2 I found to have the most interesting scene in the book because of his situation with his father what with how he and his fathers memories were earased. I had fun reading this book and can't wait to read more.

The Children of Sophista series invites us to journey to another world. Each book in this series provides more insight into the thoughts and actions of the characters. Book four allows us to learn more about Ty, Tyco, and Elof2. The writing is amazing as everything begins to come together. My daughter and I are excited to read the next book!

I literally had to fight my son over this book. We both couldn't get enough or wait to read the next part of this amazing story. The illustrations draw you in and the story absorbs you into another universe. The author delivers once again. The depth of the characters, the richness of magic, and the development of the author bring new levels of appreciation to this series.
