Hanovi Cibrian wanted nothing more than to find someone that could be true to her and love her. She had been hurt in the past and she would not stand for another man hurting her again. It seemed the only man that set her soul on fire was in her dreams. When she closed her eyes at night and dreamt of him he kept her safe and protected. Why oh why couldn't he be real? She never wanted to wake up because once she did he would be gone. While doing a bit of grocery shopping on her twenty-fifth birthday she literally ran her shopping cart into his backside. She could not believe what she was seeing...it was him her dream lover. But how could that be? Do birthday wishes really come true?
Dominik Alfieri had lived for centuries looking for one the who had killed his mate. He had vowed that he would not stop until he did. He had felt guilty for fantasizing about another female while with her but it was only in his dreams she was not real. His mate had not been faithful to him but he had stilled loved her, but this other female still occupied his every thought. While shopping for supplies he was literally rammed in backside by a beautiful caramel colored female with a shopping cart which by the way just happened to look just like his dream lover. Could dreams really come true? Because by all that is holy not only would this female be his in his dreams she would be his in reality forever. He just had to figure out how she would react to him being a vampire.
Where to start? The book was awful. The spelling and grammar mistakes made the reading an unpleasant experience. I could see a connection between Dom and Novi. Let me give you an example. Ruff instead of rough and Jace found dead in his studio instead of Jace has been found dead. The passive voice was missing in more than once. I don't know if my e-reader had a problem but all the letters were on caps. Also, I could separate the inner monologue from the dialogue. The story is mostly told from Dom and Novis point of view, but others tell their story too. And a problem is created. Now there are like 4 different stories and none of them is complete. So if I want to see what is going to happen to one of the stories you are forced to read the next book or books if the author decides to drag things out. If you are considering buying or reading the book I would suggest you not to. It needs to be edited ASAP.
I enjoyed the story about how Dominic found Hanovi and Karrick Dom's brother finds his mate too Kamire.
The couples are close and the men in their lives are preparing them for a vital piece of information they do not know about themselves, as well as trying to protect them from their enemies.
I enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to see what happens in book 2.
I discovered this author while searching Amazon Yeah!!!! I Loved this book!!! I can't wait to read the next book!! This is my new favorite author!!! Yes she could use an editor but she stated that on her authors page and I still chose to read her books anyway and I am glad I did. Keep writing Ms. Lewis I am a loyal fan! Thank you Kindle Unlimited!! I went back and bought the book... Lol
It was a great book. It would have probably been 5 stars, well for me if the errors in spelli g were gone. Also if the book was longer. Though the ending does leave great suspense cor the sequel. All in all pretty good book.
This was an intriguing romance with a Alpha Shifter who was President of the local Great Lakes Motorcycle Club of the NALB attending a regular meeting Blaze the National President who wanted his team to check out a report of a woman at a Milwaukee hospital who had claw marks on her body and could not remember how she got them They arrive at Amnesia a Gentlemen's Club that is not what it seems there are rules that Shifters have to abide by but something about this club made Rebel and his team sense that rules were being broken Rebel also has a feeling he never in his centuries of life thought he would ever feel but in walks his mate and she also realizes that there is something between them he knows that she is his mate for life but she only knows she wants to have him more than anything at the moment Charlotte (Cherry) is a waitress at this club trying to make enough money to send her brother to school he unfortunately is blind and they only have each other but she refuses to work the pole even though the money is better but she does well enough, on this night just so happens Rebel and his team sit and watch the regular action Rebel keeps his eyes on Cherry he tells his second Gates about Cherry suddenly they smell blood and want to know what is going on they demand to be included in what is happening in the basement the bartender decides that they can participate the Boss tells Cherry that she will work or he will kill her she is frightened but does what she is told she comes in with the other women Rebel thinks that she sales her body but he realizes she isn't like the other women another shifter puts in a bid for Cherry and Gates puts in a higher bid he and Rebel take Cherry to one of the rooms and she and Rebel spend a little time talking and making out before Gates comes lets him know one of their own is missing and he leaves her with another of his team Numbers but he doesn't know she is the Alpha's mate and there is a commotion he leaves her but tells her not to leave the room and you know she leaves the room and the bartender Caleb is waiting in the locker room and grabs her takes her to the woods but she fights to keep from getting in his car because he wants to rape and kill her Rebel realizes she is missing and they go after her and he is almost killed because of her but survives and he wants her to leave with him but she doesn't know him and ask for time to get to know each other he refuses and leaves even though it hurts him to and he is miserable he talks to one of his team but still doesn't realize she is as important as his wolf but will not listen to that part of himself but Blaze the National President sits and talks to him makes him think about what is important in life and that things are not the same as they were when he was turned in 1741 and that women have changed since that time too. I think the author did a really nice job with this book. Readers 18 years and older.
This story had a lot of potential. But she is in dire need of an editor. In the story, I had a hard time grasping who the enemy was. Could have been a lot better.
