Great content, worth definitely buying as an acknowledge of the great work done by the Mattt Thompson in the blog and in the open source world. It's also handy if you want some of that as a physical reference quickly at hand.

I found it not much more than a curated and logically organized collection of tweaked posts from the blog, though, so I wouldn't give it more than 3 stars.

This book is basically a collection of articles from the nshipster.com website. If you've read it over time, the book may not be as interesting. Also, there are too few examples of the stuff explained in each chapter.
I recommend reading it to anyone doing iOS programming as it will make you think about the great number of features available in Objective-C and Cocoa.

This book is okay. I like the writing style, and he covers important topics, but glosses over a lot of details.

There's also some serious editing failures, which are disappointing.

A good book for learning the basics of some dark corners of obj-c.

Just a clone of the blog, large font and spelling mistakes included. Having said that, the blog is otherwise excellent and covers the less well-known API's in a friendly manner. Worth getting even just as a reference.

A must have reference book for iOS developers as well as philosophers!

As a long term NSHipster follower, I've enjoyed the way Matt explains some obscure ideas in objc and cocoa. This book makes reference and note taking much easier.

For the nerdy, inquisitive iOS engineers - a deep dive in obscure API.
