I was given this book which has two stories from 2 different authors and becasue I had never read either one was excited to see if I could discover a new writer to enjoy. This however was not the case I did not like the book and found both stories very forgettable. The first one by Debbie Maccmber was short and, although it was about two working professionals ,the characters acted like they were in high school. Not realistic (even for a romance novel) and not entertaining at all. The 2nd book was by Tanya Michaels and the characters did not appeal to me, I found them very shallow and the interactions boring. This book was tedious to read and I cannot reccomend it.

The first story in the book, I believe that I've read before. It felt a little dated and had a very convenient ending. Three stars. But the bonus book, mother to Be was excellent. A fresh take on a older woman who unexpectedly discovers that she is pregnant. Humorous situations and a strong hero and self reliant heroine. Five stars.

Both books were enjoyable to read. Ready for Romance reminded me a lot of the Harrison Ford version of Sabrina. Mother to Be, although I couldn't really relate to the main character, was interesting. A fun read for the beach or on vacation.

Typically romance novel, but I really liked it. I loved the storyline and the chemistry between the characters. It was a fast and easy summer read. I will have to read Evan's story now and I hope to read more about Damian and Jessica!
