How many kinds of fruit can you think of? Where does it come from and how does it grow? Nine Fruits Alive describes the fruit that comes from God’s Spirit. Little ones will learn that just like water and sunlight help oranges grow on an orange tree, loving God and obeying His word will grow in us the fruit of God’s Spirit, like joy, goodness, peace and more! God loves to see His fruit in all of us and this book will help young ones understand how it grows!

This rhyming book about the fruits of the spirit is wonderful. From waiting for your turn on the slide to helping your mom clean up your room, kids can relate to the different examples. Furthermore, I love the ending that says "when you love God with all your heart, his Spirit makes the growing start." What a beautiful truth for all of us to remember.
"Joy is a fruit you can pass along, by singing your favorite silly song," reads the page depicting an apple labeled Joy.
Reading this, my grandson asked me to cut him an apple, which I did. After he ate it, he got a musical instrument and sang us a song! Later he served himself an orange and put on a one boy show with the message of self-control.
If we teach arithmetic by counting apples, so we can teach Galatians 5:22-23 with pictures of fruit.
We've been reading this to our toddler, but only certain parts (there is extra text for older kids). He loves the plastic pieces in it. I think he will likely memorize all the fruits of the spirit and examples of how they apply to our lives because this book keeps him coming back for more. Thank you so much to the author and illustrator.
An inventive way of explaining the 9 fruits of the Spirit to children, with little 3D fruits illustrating each one. Not magic, but could interest small children.
