Catch 22 is a short story collection (92 pages) written by Derrick W. Jackson. There is a love story called Second Chance about a man who starts dreaming he is a slave when he meets a female DJ he likes. The Escapee is about a man who escapes from a mental hospital. Out of Hell is about the First African American Democratic nominee whom a demon and an angel do battle over. Superstar is about a R&B singer from Valdosta, Georgia, who is torn between his wife and a woman he knew from college. By Fire is a science fiction story about a man who is taken from his home by aliens and is turned into a robotic being. The Controller is another science fiction story about a man that is implanted with a micro chip. Finally, Android Journey is a science fiction story about an android that strives to be free. This collection was compiled in 2004 but some of the stories go back to the late 90s.
