Dividing Line #3

A Family Divided

Rate this book
Life for Rachel and her husband Ryan is very good indeed. Loving parents to three children, together they run their business empire while keeping on the straight and narrow, their criminal pasts firmly behind them.

Their idyll is disturbed by a rival family intent on making their mark on Manchester. Jan Jordan, the hard faced matriarch of this rogue family, is fixated with Rachel. The Maguires are still top dog in the city and Jan is convinced Rachel is still a power to be reckoned with. The interlopers threaten to drag her and Ryan back into the life they've managed to avoid for so long and they are forced to resort to desperate measures to stay alive.

However there is also a hidden danger. Someone close to Rachel is working against her, the revelation of a long-buried secret turning love into a corrosive hate, affecting the whole family and they will go to any lengths to destroy her perfect life.

Contains scenes of sex and violence.

Author of over seventy books so far. Living on the beautiful west coast of Scotland with my husband, twin daughters and a cat called Mavis, although I am originally from Lancashire in the north of England.

My tastes in all things are eclectic, which extends to my writing. Although I primarily write crime books - especially gangland thrillers - I also write gothic historical romance and fantasy. I publish on Amazon Kindle and some of my novels are available in paperback too. I also have a traditional publishing contract with Boldwood Books.

When I'm not writing - which isn't very often - I enjoy reading Daphne Du Maurier, Edgar Allan Poe, Shirley Jackson, MR James and the Brontes, among many others. I also enjoy swimming, walking and spending time with my family.

Better and better

Oh my Heather Atkinson s books just get better and better, the saga of the Laws and the McGuires continues to thrill us in this third book in the series and doesn't disappoint. Rachel and Ryan go through so much heartache in this book, Alex McGuire turns against them but conceals it and works against them without them knowing and a mad bad firm try to take them out also. So many twists and turns to keep you reading and turning the pages of this really good book. I would recommend it to all.

Now that I know the names of the people in this story, I feel
as though I know them.

We meet the family again, and they are busy working.
Rachel has landed on her feet, with her business.

However, not Everybody loves her family, and we might see people arguing
about it.

You won’t be able to put it down.

Another good book by Heather Atkinson
