One of the best book for BPM Industry tho i haven't read the book completely. It was much required book which is going to help a lot more people. It' necessary to be part of both theory and practical, as it has got the complete information. We are going to implement for our organisation (http://coreintegrator.com/)
I'm a Process Analyst. This book is really awesome for new comers in this BPM field. There are several nuances to BPM esp. when automation has come at the centre of it. I read this book along with some automation blogs like https://getbreakout.com/ and they have helped in shaping my career as a process analyst.
I just finished reading this book and I believe it's one of the best books written in this area of BPM. It's practical, direct and easy to understand. It's very helpful for anyone wants to implement BPM office at his organization. Highly recommended.
A helpful book that helped me improve some of the workflows in my company. But I believe that reading literature is not enough to bring work processes in a company to a working level. It seems to me that the 21st century is a time of continuous development and technology. That is why I prefer to work with this software - https://fluix.io/blog/managing-constr... , which allows my employees to forget about
It delivered what it promised: an ultimate guide, not a bible but guide. Helpful for those who're either oblivious to BPM business or those who want to learn about it from bottom up. Definitely you'll need to pick your next target after this one for more deeper view on one of BPM pillars. The book helped in clarifying what makes or breaks a BPM project. It would have been fantastic if the author - being an experienced BPM consultant - threw in few case studies or stories of successful & to troubled BPM projects. Good job overall.
I've been a Research Analyst for the past four years and was looking for a book on Business Process Management(BPM) to really understand both the theory and practical application of the methodology. Because one of my client in BPM industry (https://kissflow.com/ ) and the book helped lot in getting quality information and understanding the approach we need to take in order to get the project successfully. This book is exactly as advertised and very detailed. I'd certainly recommend it to any organisation.
It's a very good book about the process of implementing BPM. We are implementing Business Process Improvement in our organisation using PNMSoft BPM (www.pnmsoft.com) and the book helped us a lot getting things right and understanding the approach we need to take in order to get the project completed. We were also looking for a technical drill-down on some elements of the process, and the book doesn't cover all the technical requirements, etc. but it does provide a good overview
This book promises a lot but then went into overdrive with academic jargon with no clear illustrations. I'll go over it again because it does offer some useful insights but I can't get over the fact that it is a poor read.
This book now sits on my shelf at work. Everything is clearly explained and is practical enough to be implemented quickly within any organization. Should be mandatory reading in MBA school. Highly recommended for management consultants and it comes with a dictionary at the back for quick reference.
Very comprehensive summary of BPM theory and helpful tips for implementing it in practice. Bit fuzzy regarding BPM tools, but this is indeed a difficult and ever changing area. Good for getting into the topic or for freshening up your knowledge, as I did.
Practical book, skim through what does not matter. Good for business consultants and learning how to make a flow chart, this helped me to get much more organized in my business.
This is the book I was searching for a 30 hours course on Introduction to BPM. Easy reading although going deep in the topics, paving the way for further reading and knowledge expansion. I highly recommend it.
