On a mission to save the farm from financial ruin, Minnie and Moo are incorrectly identified as a pair of famous bank robbers: the dreaded Bazooka Sisters. Soon sirens wail and the police are in hot pursuit. Can Minnie and Moo escape the long arm of the law? Or does this case of mistaken identity spell curtains for the innocent cows?
A re-read by Neo, using his 'read-along' audiobook discovery!
Another wonderful Minnie and Moo story that Neo adored. When Moo discovers that the farmer is short on his bills, she crafts a plan to ensure there is more money for her owner. Why not go to a bank, where they are always giving money to those who need it? Minnie is hesitant, but goes along for the ride. Neo loved the quick chapters and especially liked learning the farmer's wife has the same name as his mom... now convinced she owns a farm.
As our introductory book into this series, I must admit I found this book to be highly entertaining as I read it to my son. Desperate to help their farmer, Minnie and Moo decide to head into town to get money from the bank. However good their intentions are, their execution leaves them in a world of mess as they are believed to be a wanted duo who is robbing the local bank. Though the cows are never caught and the money is returned to the bank manager, the duo manage to succeed in helping the farmer after all. As his $1 reward money is just enough to cover the few cents they were missing in order to pay all of their bills that morning.
Minnie and Moo: Wanted Dead or Alive is a perfect book for transitional readers probably in Kindergarten through third grade. this book is about two characters: Minnie and Moo who try to save a farm that is about to be in debt. Minnie and Moo are identified as bank robbers (which isn't true). This book keeps the reader on the edge of their seat because problems keep occurring. just like the other transitional book that I have reviewed here on GoodReads, I would assign this book for a book project or something of that matter. This book has more words and less pictures which is perfect for a transitional reader. The student should be able to read this on their own time, and alone for the most part. I would recommend this book to teachers who have a transitional reader in their classroom.
Mr. and Mrs. Farmer don't have enough money to pay their bills, so Minnie & Moo have a plan to go to the bank and ask for lots of money to give to them. They inadvertantly dress up like 2 wanted gangsters, wanted for robbery. When they get to the bank everyone thinks they are the gangsters and fill their case with money so they will not get hurt. Minnie & Moo are chased by the cops and don't even know it. They leave the case of money on the farmers lawn and take a shortcut home. The police come and a $1 reward is given to the farmers. It turns out this is more than enough to pay their bills and Minnie and Moo make it home safely without ever knowing what really happened. I love this easy reader series, Minnie & Moo are just too silly.

Minnie and Moo: Wanted Dead or Alive by Denys Cazet is another wild romp on the farm with our udderly favorite bovines. Moo hears the farmer comlaining about money and decides to visit the bank, since they give money away. Their clothing choices unfortunately match two notorious bankrobbers, and hijinks, and a police chase, ensue.
The silly text and illustrations should keep beinning beaders entertained, while the large type and some repetition encourages their reading progress.
For ages 5 to 8, humor, friendship, cows, beginning/transitional readers, and fans of Minnie, Moo and Denys Cazet.
Everyone’s favorite crazy cows are back in another hilarious adventure for young readers. When Minnie and Moo ask the bank for money to help Mr. & Mrs. Farmer, they are mistaken for the vicious, bank-robbing Bazooka Sisters. Kids will giggle with delight as the two genuinely innocent bovines incite fear and create chaos in the bank and on the farm. Appropriate vocabulary, charming watercolor illustrations, and plenty of humor make Cazet’s Minnie and Moo books kid favorites.

Fantastic book for emerging readers that need to build endurance and confidence without encountering frustrating words. The plot is funny and keeps my emerging reader engaged. If you're working on building reading endurance, these are the books. If you're working on building vocabulary, you might find these books are not challenging enough.
Dax and I are rereading some of the books we read when he was little. We love these crazy cows. He still laughs at their antics, even though he's much older than the intended audience. I think they are funny too.
