Bittersweet reading words and thoughts from Michal Ann Goll, now that she walks in glory with Jesus in heaven. The Goals correctly address how the "...world is literally screaming at us, desperate for help." The Lord wants to "enlarge our hearts" so that those screaming in the world are answered with our compassion and action. There is a place for you to impact people around you, and even the nations. Will you be open to the call?

The authors give short profiles of a number of women who their lives in service to others, often sacrificing their own health and personal/family life for the cause. They pointed out the importance Jesus placed on caring for the least of our brethren. I came to appreciate and admire the work done by these women; however, I would have liked more emphasis on what each of us who are not called to such selfless service can do in our own lives to share the love of Christ.

Definitely a call to action. The stories of these women inspire you. They draw out convictions from deep within your heart, dreams you never knew you had, but now can't but give serious thought to. There's so much you could do. If only you take that first bold step forward.
