This was a very sweet story that had to move quickly because of its brevity. At first, I did not know if I would like such a story. The author has to be able to create something believable.
The five-year old in the story is a well-behaved very anxious to have a mother. A little unbelievable?
The mother-in-law and her son-in-law have a very good relationship. That she wants him to have another chance at love and companionship is notable. Not everyone would be that magnanimous.
I can say that I did enjoy this short story and would look forward to perhaps a sequel. Something that explores the increasing sexual tension between the protagonists....this could be interesting.
The fact that he takes out the sleigh (previous only used with his late wife) suggests that he is open to exploring a real relationship with his new wife.
It would be great if this man knows how to make love to a woman who is more than likely a virgin. When they could get away, perhaps for a honeymoon...? It sounds, from the little told of his financial situation, that this could be something that is do-able.

Loving again

I normally don’t get into the mail order bride thing, but I enjoyed this one. Deception always starts things off on the wrong foot, but ‘ glad the truth was told quickly.
