A light romp through fae land, Brock pilfering food at the banquet was especially good. Zebulon was a real enigma throughout most of the book. A good basic quest fantasy.

I enjoyed the potential. I hold out hope for the next book, but haven't decided if I'm interested enough to pursue the read.

Light & Entertaining

An entertaining tale of an elf's journey from self-centered youth to budding wizard. He falls under the tutelage of a driven but kindly wizard.

Would have ranked it 5 stars with improved editing.
