The Cubist Infant

Rate this book
It's about the zany adventures of Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque as they get together and invent Cubism. It's about war, the futility of art, loneliness and frustration. It's about what a bitch Gertrude Stein was.

An absurd tale of the meeting of cubist founders Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso. Filled with bizarre sexual analogies like Picasso's "inverse ejaculation” - which stand for the mythology and self-absorption of the artists.
