"Stop her!" yelled the General, seeing the scramble. Kraal began to move a bit more. "Sieennnnaaa lives!" he said groggily as he began to wake up. The Dragon slayers began to surround her. She continued to slash through the ropes, when several soldiers attacked her. She whirled around, evading and defending, finally catching one by the neck, slicing it open. Another lunged at her, and she caught his neck with her bare hands, ripping his throat out. As she did this, two more grabbed her from behind. She pulled one arm free and reached up, grabbing one head and twisting until she heard his neck snap, then broke free of the other one. She turned quickly and shoved the stolen sword through the mithril armor. The armor and sword made bright sparks as the two metals clashed. The sword pierced the soldier's heart, killing him. The sword snapped, and she stepped back, now unarmed. The fallen soldiers' swords lay nearby, but the crowd continued to surround her closer and closer...
I grew up in the wild lands of the Jornada del Muerto in southern New Mexico. I raised horses, tended my windmill, raised a family, and ran my ranch until I graduated from New Mexico State University. I've been writing since I was old enough to read. My stories range from westerns to science fiction and fantasy, but there's a twist. Each book is only a small slice of the larger story that encompasses them all. They're all related in a complex mult-genre odyssey. Each book is a separate and complete story, so it is possible to pick one up and read it as a stand-alone. However, if you read more than one in my collection, which I call the "Alternate Universe" series, you'll begin to see how they're connected. Most of my books were written for a small audience- my family and close friends. Although anyone is welcome to read them, just understand. You may find yourself a bit lost at some of the references.
Also, be warned if you do decide to dive into this series. There are subjects and scenes in some of my books that will be offensive to sensitive readers. This includes (but is not limited to), graphic murder, sensuality, foul language, the paranormal, mythological and religious themes. If you're intolerant of any of these things, please look elsewhere for reading material before picking mine up.
If you do enjoy any of my books, please be sure to leave a nice review. It is much appreciated.
