This series had me hooked from the first book I read. I am enjoying reading about Sarah Roberts. These books are filled with mystery and every sort of surprises that will have your emotions on a roller coaster. I'm psyched to read more.
I absolutely love the 'Sarah Roberts Series'. This book had once again proved to be a great novel. The story is amazing. The thrills and suspense kept me wanting to read every page. I could not put it down. The characters are great, as usual. The story is well thought out. Well written. I look forward to reading more of this series. As always, Jonas Saul has created a work of art with his novels. A definite must read. Recommended
Another fast action thriller by Mr. Saul. Great story. Kept me interested from the beginning. Recommend this book for all readers. Note: although it can be read as a stand alone, it is best to start from the beginning of the series to understand the background of the series and the heroine.
I did enjoy the book, but the religious zealots bothered me. I guess they bothered me because there were conflicting entities in the afterlife who had opposite goals.
A real page turner and action on every page. I found this hard to put down and couldn't read fast enough to keep up with the action. I am reading these out of order but the story stands on its own and important information from prior books covered well enough you don't feel lost.
I have really enjoyed this series. Fast paced and exciting storyline. Love the characters. Thank you for this series, I'm off to book 6. Can't wait to share! Definitely a 5 star rating!
The Sarah Roberts series is one of the best series I have ever read. Each story pulls you in from the beginning and keeps you reading until the end. Then you can't wait to start the next one.
You people should just read this book yourselves and write your own review on this novel yourself and I really enjoyed reading this book very much so. Shelley MA
In The Victim, Sarah is the victim. She is captured, only to be let go by mysterious means, and then stalked by people who see her as the end of times.
I swear, I never know where this author is going to take Sarah from one book to the next, but these ae solid good rides. The violence can be extreme, but to know Sarah can get through it, is something I am willing to allow to happen. I will say, at the end of this boo, I felt like the series was ending. there was a finality there that I didn't feel in other books. (However, that is not true...there are many more books out there.) But this reader wonders: is this just one phase to the series, and is book six the start of the phase?
Book five in the Sarah Roberts series continues the entertainment cycle. After Sarah narrowly escapes one tormentor, she meets her match ... and then some ... in Matthew, another automatic writer, who reaches out to his twin brother from the other side. He instructs him and his fellow Rapturites to "send her and other chosen people home" since God wants all the good people with Him. Only Jonas Saul could pull this off with believable characters, dialogue and content. Avid fans of this writer will find it's a constant roller coaster ride, packed with thrills. When the ride is over, the reader hastens to buy another ticket and jump on board for the next go round.
this was an entertaining book. i guess it's about the 5th book in a series with the same main character, so at times i felt like i was left out of the loop, trying to figure out references to her past adventures, but that wasn't enough of a drawback to mar my enjoyment of the book. the premise of the series is the protagonist is a young woman who is able to make predictions of what will happen in the future with the help of her dead sister, who writes notes through her while she's in a trance. i'm sure that's explained better in the previous books, but it gets her into all kinds of trouble. not a bad read. a good summer book.
Sarah's self defense skills may not be enough to save her life this time. Toronto just is not the place for her. She is rescued from the U.S. Govt to being chased by a different "Godly" group that has been after her for years, only she didn't know it. Simon Peter has brain washed his men that it is time for the rapture and the "good" people are to die. They kill people with a very lethal Injection and within seconds they are gone with just a touch. They are hunting her and have her cornered with the needle in he neck and she is injected. Parkland is there but it's to late.......can they save her?
Sarah Roberts, is an automatic writer, directed by her deceased sister, Vivian. In this 5th book of the series, sarah's death is faked and she is held captive, supposedly by representatives of the government. Sarah escapes and is in a mall where a cult-like group, The Rapturites, dressed in overcoats and with rice powder on their faces, are injecting people with a mysterious drug which kills ( raptures) them.
I was disappointed in this book. It was just a little too far-fetched, with shallow characters and a poorly developed story line.
This book was a little fanciful for me, but Saul knows how to write and capture your attention. Have not read the entire series but this one was interesting enough to keep my attention through the whole book. Am sure we will learn more in the next installment. It's worth a quiet, evenings read.
J. Robert Ewbank author "John Wesley, Natural Man, and the Isms" "Wesley's Wars" and "To Whom It May Concern"
A new series for me to love! This is the story of Sarah Roberts, an automatic writer, who is led to help those in need or to stop crimes from happening. Sarah gets written messages from her the other side while blacked out. She has learned to follow the directions given and it will save someone or stop a crime. I really enjoyed getting to know Sarah and the rest of the regular characters. The books show Sarah's development as she matures and explores her gift.
I really liked the book. I didn't realize that this book was part of a series. But it was really easy to read and to catch on to the characters. There was never a dull moment in the story,it just kept moving on. I had a hard time putting the book down. I just downloaded the first book in the series. I hope it is just as good.
Sarah Roberts receives instructions from her deceased sister Vivian. When she follows those instructions, she is saving lives. But both government entities and individuals have harmed her and intent to kill her and scan her brain to see how she can "see things in the future". This was an excellent mystery. I rate it a 4.8.
It was an amusing read, even though it's not my standard for type, and I found errors in the overall premise. Still, the characters were likable and fairly well depicted. It's part of the series, and I'm not likely to read others (but certainly have no intention of paying for others) but it was okay.
Geez, just when I thought the previous 4 books were great. You will have to read to find out what happens to Sarah. I was sad the deaths that took place, but you need to read so I'm not revealing anything. New characters and some old ones die off. Great read!
