Chester and Freya have accidentally gone back in time. Now stuck in the Viking Age, and separated by the sea, they must brave raids, betrayal and enslavement to find their way back to each other, and find their way back home.
Chester knew he shouldn't have listened to Freya - nothing good ever comes from listening to Freya - but when his friend suggested they explore the history museum, he expected a bit of harmless fun. What he didn't expect was to be catapulted a thousand years into the past, and forced to lead a crew of questionable vikings on a daring rescue mission across the seas.
A story of adventure, friendship and magic, set in a historically accurate viking world.
Perfect for schools, as well as children who love vikings and adventure, A Viking Saga comes with access to dozens of free resources, lessons, reading comprehensions and activities about the vikings and the Viking Age.
This book was brilliant! A captivating and fast-paced story with lovable characters. There's a great deal of detail regarding Norse traditions, beliefs and culture, but it's woven into the story effortlessly. I hope there's a sequel on the way!
A really entertaining book for young and old. An exciting page-turner that pulls you into the world of vikings, with two likeable and funny main characters.
