The second edition of one of the top special education law books in the field acquaints readers with the legal development and current legal requirements of special education. The book includes new information on the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 2004 and the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. Special Education K-12 Teachers and Administrators.
This book is really only for people in Special Education but it's so comprehensive that it's hard not to love. At least a tiny bit. It's dense but I eventually got comfortable reading through it.
This is a well written textbook, a good read, but at times was very repetitive (word for word references back to prior sections/chapters/chapters or sections that felt unnecessary). Definitely a good purchase for the course I took, though, and very informative.
A very dense and comprehensive guide to all things legally related to special education services. Purchased for a course, I did find it a bit technical at times but I suppose it needed to be. I learned a lot in its reading.
