An ancient prophecy written over 3000 years ago reveals that the Arab states and terrorist populations, which presently share common borders with Israel, will soon confederate in order to wipe Israel off of the map. These enemies of Israel are depicted on the red arrows upon the book cover image, and their mandate is clear: They have said, "Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more." (Psalm 83:4). Psalm 83 predicts a climactic, concluding Arab-Israeli war that has eluded the discernment of today's top Bible scholars, and yet, the Middle East stage appears to be set for the fulfillment of this prophecy. While many of today's top Bible experts are predicting that Russia, Iran, Turkey, Libya, and several other countries are going to invade Israel according to the prophecy in Ezekiel 38, this timely book explains how Psalm 83 occurs prior. Discover how Israel defeats their ancient Arab enemies, and why Americans need to stand beside Israel in this coming war! This book is an updated version of Isralestine, The Ancient Blueprints of the Future Middle East, which was written by the same author. This updated version includes over 17 new chapters and appendices.
2013 book beloved by the superstitious Christians. Argues current human events really flow from Biblical prophecies. Gives a good view of the prevailing world views of America's right wing Christians. Having read the Bible my own self a few times, the selective use of Biblical quotes is interesting. Neither Mr. Salus nor any other true believer is troubled by various logical inconsistencies.
Mr. Salus, to his credit, does not seem to have written this book as a sales pitch for his own aggrandizement (as I'm pretty sure Joel Rosenberg did when writing Epicenter, a 2004 work Mr. Salus adopts as gospel) and admits various logical holes in his conclusions. (I'd say they are easily explained by egocentric worldview from which the author starts his analysis; however, IMO Mr. Salus is quite sincere in his beliefs).
Psalm 83 frequently cites World Net Daily and similar sources. Among other conclusions, Salus explains the inerrant Bible predicts a greater Israel, which shall include the Levant and the entire Saudi Arabian peninsula, and that needs to happen before the apocalypse. Perhaps this was needed because Epicenter's 2004 dire predictions have had 9 years to fruit but remain barren.
Psalm 83 is the third book in Bill Salus' eschatology series. It was a very comprehensive examination of the battle that occurs in the middle east between Israel and ten of her surrounding neighbours, sometime in the future. We are told that Israel's "exceedingly great army" as they are described will have a comprehensive win, and claim much territory as a result. The Bible says that Abraham was granted all the land between the Nile River and the Euphrates River by God, and this battle goes a long way towards getting this land back.
The book is 365 pages long, but chock full of facts. A very good read.
This is an interesting book. It was written in 2013 and so lacks the information that has occurred in the Middle East since then. But Sallus' predictions about the Psalm 83 war have seemed to have found at least their beginning fulfillment in the October 7, 2023 invasion by Hamas and subsequent attacks by the IDF on Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon. Sallus is quite smart but tends to overexplain things. The fact that he is friends with Jonathan Cahn did not help me accept his interpretations without question. But overall, it's an interesting read.
Informative book for evey Christian nowadays! The things we see everyday in the news: middle east and the rest of the world is indicative that what the bible saying is indeed what's happening now and shaping it for future events coming.
Bill is an excellent researcher and a careful student of the Word of God. I was so blessed to have been able to hear him speak at the World View Conference here in Seattle in 2018 and talk with him personally about these prophecies.
Psalm 83 provides a prophecy most missed... and fits into current events, and shows us how Ezekiel 38 and 39 will ultimately be fulfilled... in talking with Bill he pointed out the part in Ezekiel about the walled villages... most of us just assumed that was a reference to ancient concepts and we assumed it meant they were able to defend themselves, but he, as a careful student, pointed out the importance of leaving that as an issue in the prophetic fulfillment of Ezekiel... and pointed to Psalm 83 as a precursor to Ezekiel, along with Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah 49.
The Psalm 83 book is filled with content and deals with the "inner circle" of adversaries against Israel. Bill brings in a lot of history and a number of other prophecies... the fascinating thing about all of these remaining prophecies is they are lined up right now and can be fulfilled in a very short time span.
Bill signed this book and included this passage:
Rev 19:10 Then I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
Kindle edition needs editing. The book itself is ok, but terribly repetitive. The author feels like his point can be made by repeating the same things over, and over, and over again. Not sure I buy into the author's hypothesis.
