I knew I had dangerous enemies, but I didn’t realise the person who cursed me was a titan. A terrifying, all-powerful being who devoured his own children for power. (He ate them. Not keen on getting eaten myself.)
Now, my mates and I have a target on our backs, and to make matters worse, Wynvail pissed the titan off by saving us from a grisly death. And that all-powerful, god-eating creature has Wane. My mate is being tortured every day, and I don’t care how many people need to die to get him back, nothing will stop me.
But when he abducts us and throws us into the Labyrinth - a murderous maze of traps, nightmares, and monsters - it’ll take all my strength and stubbornness just to stay alive.
What if we die in the Labyrinth, and there’s no one left to save Wane?
Eternal Night is a paranormal romance with psycho men, a ruthless revenge-driven FMC, twisted demon romance, and lots and lots of bloodlust. Deadly archdemons, cutting sarcasm, epic reincarnation romance, true enemies to lovers, and gruesome murders fill these pages, so get ready to laugh, cringe, and swoon.
This book is set in the same world as Lili Kazana - but this series stands completely separate.
Leigh Kelsey is the author of romance and reverse harem books for anyone with a soft spot for steely women and the tortured men who love them. No matter what stories she's writing - vampires or shifters or bad boys - they all share a common thread of love, heart, and action. She is the author of the Lili Kazana series, the Moonlight Inn series, the Dead Space stand alone, and the Blacktower Prison for Supernaturals series, plus many more books.
Eternal Night is the third book in Leigh Kelsey's Kissed by Brimstone series. I greatly enjoyed this book it was full of surprises, with a few eye-catching plot twists.
There was a lot of raw emotion in this book and not just the characters but mine as well. They have all been put through the wringer. Hailey has her magic back and her tattoos are lighting up something fierce. She is still as badass as she was before but I could tell things are starting to get to her. However, she's still holding up her mates whenever they need her.
As for the guys they are feeling it too, each hurting in their own way. Harvey is hurting because his other half, his twin, is still missing. Kai has abandonment issues, and his anxiety is prevalent in this one. It's affecting his mood and actions, setting him on a very thin edge. Meanwhile, poor Emlyn, our protector, is trying to stay strong and positive for everyone. Leigh has worked some kind of witchy magic because Wynvail (Wyn) went from persona-non-grata to bonding with the main characters in the weirdest of ways. Of course, there's still smack talk but there are nicer feelings as well, deeply hidden but they're there. It's obvious there's more to him than he seems. I glimpses of who he really is and we get to find out a little about his past which in turn got me to care about him. What can I say Leigh is a miracle worker.
The Greeks are back or should I say Greek gods. This story was steeped in Greek mythology, the titan Cronus (the a-hole) decides to make life that much harder for Haley and the guys by sticking them in the Labyrinth, you know the famous one with Theseus and the minotaur. Personally, I think the Labyrinth scene went on a little too long and was a little frustrating but I guess that's purposely. Leigh did switch it up by having the group face off with various creatures from Greek mythology. There was a lot of emotion and action and I enjoyed all the mythology.
Leigh is ruthless, she built me up just to tear me down again. By the end, Eternal Night had me balling. I mean big crocodile tears streaming down my face. The moment I've been waiting for finally happened and it totally broke my heart. There is hope, Leigh has two more books planned for the series and she's promising good things.
"Eternal Night" is the third book in the "Kissed by Brimstone" series, and reading it felt a little like being on a rollercoaster. There's a small timeframe where the ride takes you up, slowly, and you can't see what's coming yet. And once the ride takes on tempo you enter endless speed, loopings, twists until the ending leaves you sucking in your breath and gently trying to get your adrenaline levels down again to deal with the aftermath...
The previous book made me really curious about Wynvail's story and how he fit with Halwen. Never in my wildest dreams could I have come up with this though... All of these characters have suffered in the past, are still suffering in the present, and something tells me the Gods aren't done with them yet with two more books to come. I'm really hoping for the happiest ever after after all of this is done. That being said: the author created a very interesting world with this series, with a lot of unexpected side characters and I'm really curious to see who will show up next.
*RH *Paranormal *Multi- POV *fated mates *demons *rebirth *stabby FMC *established harem (4?) *fast burn 🔥 *3/5 Emotional! Oh my gosh this is certainly an heart breaking book for our FMC Halwen 😣 After coming to terms with what she had to do to her relative and what that means for her lineage she needs a breather! Yet with her bonds barely there with Harvey, Kai and Em she knows she needs to find Wane as a matter of urgency…can she trust Wynvail to help or is he as shady as he seems? 😬 Captured by the enemy and tossed into the Labyrinth as part of his games and in an attempt to find Wane they have everything thrown at them, yet Haley begins to understand more about what she can do, and wow is she a kickbutt crazy 😆 I really liked how you’re never certain of whether Wyn is friend of foe to Haley’s and her men, you’re constantly kept guessing - especially as you find out more about his backstory 😳 but oh my that cliffhanger 😢😢
Eternal Night - book 3 kicks off right where book 2 ended with Cronus now playing a sadistic game with Halwen (FMC) and her mates. Leading them on a merry dance with his minion Wynvail as they slowly try to find Wane but it also opens their eyes to uncover some truths. Which definitely took them on some twistedly plot twists and turns throughout this book. Ending in one hell of a brilliant cliff-hanger ending. I cant wait to get my hands on the next book now. This series is so good.
Cronus traps them all the the minotaur's labyrinth. They keep getting separated then manage to find their way back together. All while still looking for Wayne. Cronus also keeps taunting them.
Book 3 was hard, very emotional in parts so be very prepared when you start. Leigh sure knows how to keep things interesting and can pull on our heart strings. These prophecies sure have some harsh consequences. Brutal.
