And it made it to the finals of The Writer's Place Short Screenplay Competition as Storm Shadows. Rat's Bite: short story An introverted little orphan boy must overcome a life threatening obstacle after the immediate aftermath of a powerful storm, leaving the seashore city he lives in gloomy and desolate. His curiosity proves near fatal when he is bitten by a rat scavenging among the rock jetties.
