Damn, his voice was so deep and sexy.
"Oh, that's OK. I wasn't sleeping. Um, what are you doing here?"
He gave me a wry smile and asked me what I was doing there.
"I work here. Well, I don't actually work here, not yet anyway." I saw him raise an eyebrow. "I'm an intern in the investment banking unit. Just taking a late lunch." My throat was suddenly very dry. I took a sip of my water to quench my thirst but it didn't help. This man had such an effect on me. I could feel my cheeks burning as he just looked at me. His dark eyes roamed slowly over my body stopping at the opening of my blouse. I was always careful not to dress seductively at work. I never unbuttoned more than one button and I never wore a skirt above my knee.
He tore his gaze away from my blouse and looked into my eyes. "I haven't been able to stop thinking about you since this morning. You smelled so good," he murmured in his deep sexy voice. He reached out to brush the hair out of my wide eyes that were blinking at him uncontrollably.
Am I dreaming here? There is no way this is really happening.
I was suddenly very aware of the thumping of my heart. I hope he can't sense what he is doing to me. I felt light-headed as I tried to think of something to say in response to him.
He pulled up a chair and was sitting directly in front of me. He pulled out his cell phone and made a call while holding my gaze the entire time. "I'm in the lounge and I don't want to be disturbed for the next hour." Immediately after he hung up the phone I heard the door automatically lock.

These are the first books I have read by Ashley Blake...I really liked how the hero and heroine met ..and the way their relationship progressed.... they had a true love story and the intensity of their relationship at times had me breathless.. I Loved the series it was SERIOUSLY SUPER HOT!!!! I just felt the author should have stretched the last two books .. they jumped 10 years and their life was crammed into these last books and I felt they could have been spread out further.. Saying that I do recommend these books

The boxed set takes through the journey of Joshua and Sarah's relationship. This was so much fun to read, from beginning to the end. The strong willed Joshua know what it is he wants and goes after it, even if it's on a train ride to work, were he meets Sarah. Then Sarah is strong too, but has no problem given in to anything Joshua comes up with. I enjoyed how they toke time to get to know each other, before falling in love. This was a great story, if your looking for hot, steamy romance story then this is for you!! Read and enjoy, highly recommend!!

I had to say that I liked this very much! Though I knew lots of short stories that involved bilionaire and his mediocre employee, but Sarah is unusual heroine that I liked very much. She's strong, smart, and stands for herself. Loved it.
