This whole story could have been in one book. The second an third books are nothing but a bad porn story. All sex with little to no plot. We knew that Natasha would get hurt and repent, and that Jason wouldn't give up. Very disappointed
This is the first time that I gave a novel a two stars. I really want to give it at least a three, I really do, but there was so much lacking in this book. I'm surprised that I was even able to read the trilogy in one sitting.
I felt that although the plot was interesting, the author didn't deliver.
There was no substance and lack of depth to the characters, making it hard for me to relate or sympathize in any way. Both hero and heroine were one dimensional and it seems that the only basis to their relationship was mind blowing sex, which was creatively written, but unfortunately was also lacking to me. But then again, there were sex scenes for about 80% of the book, which may be fine to some readers, but I need more than that. There was no emotional connection between the couple and maybe that's what I find lacking about the sex. But then again, they were also the same way out of bed.
So if you're just looking for a sex-dominated novel, this is one for you. If you're looking for in-depth characters and a good plot, look somewhere else.
Loved it. I would've liked to see more of his demons come out the closet after them but it was enough with hers. Although, I lost a little faith in him being a business man seeing he took so long trying to fix the ex boyfriend problem. That was a big downfall because it should've been something more challenging that could've taken him down. Other than that the steam level was exactly right however it took away from reading how they lived together. At one point I was thinking I get it the sex was top shelf but what else is holding them together? Overall it was a good book.
This is the last book in the series. Laszlo & Trinity are now married with a baby on the way & Jason wants a seat on the board of Laszlo's company. Jason beat Natasha to near death & she confessed his evil plan to Laszlo because she felt guilty, then she moves to Oregon (good riddance). This book is 85% sex.
Glad I finished the series, but would've fathered it all been condensed in one book. Laszlo and Trin had so much sex I don't know how they managed to get much of anything else done. I'm a sucker for a HEA and glad they found it.
I was intrigued enough to read the series. I was very disappointed that the characters didn't show more of a love connection. There were plenty of hot/steamy sex scenes, but not enough romance.
