TROPES:
~lite MC series
~age gap
~brutal, bad boy vibes x innocent, sunshine vibes

I don't believe I've ever read a Haillie Bennett novella until now and this was so good, I'm gonna read more by her!

This starts out with Faith, a pastor's daughter. She's tired of being watched 24/7 so she goes to a bar to "let loose" for one night and have fun! She manages to get right in the middle of a physical, brutal fight when Alaska notices her and drags her to safety. He simply makes her feel safe and that's what she's been craving her whole life. They end up spending a night together and soon she leaves with no contact information while Alaska was sleeping.

What happens next? Oh, there's some delicious spicy spice, some drama with each of their dads, and a healthy dose of an OTT, possessive/jealous heroes.

I read this novella in just a few hours. It was so good I want to reread it again rn!<3

SAFETY:
Virgin/celibate?: virgin h, unsure about H

Alaska and Faith

An unlikely meeting between a biker and the preacher’s daughter in a bar out of town. Sparks fly for the the couple after the man saved her from a fight at the bar. The very sheltered woman was ready to let her hair down and see what being “free” is all about.

Now that she’s crossed the line, she’s ready to step out of her father’s home and his control. I loved the chemistry between Alaska and Faith and the way he broke her from the confines of her over zealous father. Nice book with their deserved HEA.

Faith is the good and well behaved preacher's daughter. One night she gets out and goes to a biker bar where she meets Alaska and has a hit ONS with him. Alaska saw sweet Faith and fell instantly for her, but she left the next morning without a word. Now that he found his One, he won't stop until he can claim his woman. Instalove, sweet, steamy, romantic and safe with a sweet HEA 😍😍

Nicely written story with wonderful character and a real page turner, a sweet steamy romance with a happily ever after ending.
A story about a reverend’s daughter going to find herself but instead finding the biker whose heart sparks.
The two met at a bar in the middle of nowhere, their eyes met before the bar burst into a fight between rival motorcycle gangs. The biker got her out of the and took her to her hotel room where he found out she was a virgin before they had sex. The next morning she left without saying a word to the biker. When he got up and found her gone he decided he was going to find her and make her his so he searched for her.
During this time the biker’s father comes to talk to him but he blows his father off, he doesn’t want anything to do with his father but she gets a feeling that something is going to happen. After a week of searching the two were brought together again when he found her at the church where the club president said that the patrons of the church were harassing the club, he took her to a meadow near the clubhouse of the motorcycle club. In the meadow they talk, he spanks her as well as plays with her but when they hear sirens they go back to the clubhouse to find the reverend and the police there. The reverend tries to get the biker arrested but he can’t because she’s of age. The reverend’s daughter leaves with the reverend so nothing can happen to the biker and promises that they will see one another even though she has no clue how.
The next week her father the reverend has a guy come from church, the reverend talks about her marrying the guy. She doesn’t want to marry the guy but she can’t say anything to her father. The two are to go on a date during a group meeting that the guy organizes for the church. The day of the date she goes to the library and talks to the librarian before getting in her car and going to the town close to where the biker lives. The reverend’s daughter stops at the coffee shop in the town where she notices the woman who was with the bikers and another lady. The three sit and chat for a bit and the reverend’s daughter decides that she’s moving out of the home and into a cabin with the lady.
The next day the two women that she was talking to at the coffee shop comes with the biker as well as a couple more biker’s, they get her things while her father is throwing a fit. She moves into the cabin with the lady and the other woman gets her a job. The reverend's daughter and the biker have a date at a bar/grill.
The woman who was with the biker has a book club and the reverend’s daughter joins the meeting at the bar/grill. While there some of the church patrons come into the bar/grill harassing the people there who're eating or drinking at the bar. The woman who was with the biker texts her husband and some of the club members are there, even the biker. The guy who the reverend wanted to marry his daughter is there and when he says something about her in front of the biker the biker pushes him into the table he’s standing next to, the owner of the bar/grill is holding another one of the church patrons. They take the church patrons outside, three total, the church patrons spat out some words and leave.
Not long after the reverend’s daughter is sitting in the clubhouse kitchen when one of the club members tells them that the biker’s father is there with the reverend and the church patrons. They head out the front door to find the broker’s father dressed like the patrons of the church. The biker as well as the club president try to talk to the reverend and the patrons about the biker’s father but it’s no use. The sheriff arrests the biker’s father and tells the church patrons about what he did so the church patrons leave and the reverend’s daughter turns her back on her father.
The couple goes to the biker’s room in the clubhouse, no one will interrupt them due to the game that is on the television. The reverend’s daughter gives the biker oral sex before they have sex, the biker forgets to use a condom and they talk about their relationship and what they want. They tell one another that they love each other.
The couple gets married six weeks after they met. He has been building their own cabin close to the meadow and the clubhouse. The biker manages the renovated club gym. She’s looking for someone to take over her receptionist position that works due to being pregnant and not wanting to work after she has the baby so she can be a full time mother and wife, she may work part time if needed.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

3.5/5 stars

Alaska aka Nolan meets Faith when he rescues her from a bar brawl. Feeling an instant connection to him she asks him up to her room when he gives her a ride on his bike. She’s a preacher’s daughter who is expected to be a virgin for her husband but Faith is tired of all the expectations her father and the church have on her to be perfect. She wants to have sex with Nolan for herself. The next morning she feels guilt and shame crowd in where the night before there were thoughts of pleasure and happiness. She sneaks out of her room and heads back home.
Nolan is not happy his princess ran away from him, he heads to the clubhouse and asks their tech guy to find her for him but he and the club refuse to help. They are trying to stay above the law since they have had some trouble with Nolan’s father, Snake a former brother who stole from them. Plus they are having problems with the local church and its preacher harassing them for their evil ways.
The Pres decides they need to attend service so the parishioners can see they are just ex military men who like to ride and not criminals. Things go sideways when Nolan sees Faith come out of her father’s office. He marches up the aisle and takes her from the church. He takes her back to the clubhouse and they start to talk when her father along with the police show up. Her father accuses Nolan of kidnapping but Faith deescalates the situation and says she know him and she’s fine. Back home she sees more things that make her question her dad and his teachings.
After meeting her new friends Lindy and Caroline she decides to move out of her dad’s house especially since he wants her to marry a man she does not love.
The guys come to help her move out, she settles in with Lindy, who helps Faith get a job at a auto shop owned by the MC.
Snake’s new scene is to cheat the church and its members out of money. When he and Faith’s dad along with a bunch of parishioners march up to the clubhouse Nolan calls out his dad and the police show up and arrest him the church people are worried he did steal from them. Shamed by being fooled they all scatter and leave the club and brothers alone. Epilogue with the married and expecting their first baby.

Alaska's Lady is book 2 in the Reapers Wolves Mountain MC Series by Hallie Bennett and is a spinoff in the Suitor's Crossing world.

Alaska is a veteran returning home to his MC, to face the damage his father did when he betrayed the club. When he stops off for dinner he finds a beautiful yet innocent Faith witnessing a wild bar fight and helps to get her safely out and back to her hotel. Faith, a preachers kid, far enough from home to feel brave and feeling attracted to Alaska, invites him into her room.

Faith is sure she made the right decision, taking control of her virtue, but afterward, she feels guilty. She leaves before Alaska wakes up, so he only knows her first name. But he is determined to find her.

Her father and his congregation have some very close minded patriarchal views. Sadly for Faith and a few of the other younger women in the church, their lives have not been easy or pleasant. While this is not fun to read, sadly there are always going to be men who use religion to control women. I thought the way Hallie separated them from being close minded bullies and being real Christians was well done.

The MC Prez thinks if they attend the church, (his wife wants to attend church), that the congregation will be able to get to know them and their attitude will change. When they pull up, Faith can hear the bikes, and is afraid, Alaska walks in and sees Faith, unwilling to let Faith slip away again he walks up to her, puts her over his shoulder, and walks out! I couldn’t stop laughing, it was an awesome scene in the book. From there is just gets better, steamy reunions, kidnapping, cops, protesters, plot twists, You’ll be hooked through the last page!

This book has such a great story, with wonderful characters and lots of chemistry and steamy scenes. I am so thrilled that we’re getting another ‘Heart Spark’ series, I can’t wait for the next one.

Such a fantastic read! Faith is a sheltered girl most of her life being a preacher's daughter. She escapes temporarily to seek fun. She meets Alaska aka Nolan at a bar. They have an intense one night stand and Faith disappears not knowing if she will see Alaska again. Was it love at first sight or just fun for Nolan? Does Felicity permanently escape because of her feelings for Alaska or does she decide to stay with what she knows? Can Alaska get Felicity to accept him and his feelings for her? I ABSOLUTELY recommend this 5⭐ winner to find out the answers to these questions and much more. I flew through this exciting and intense ebook. I'd give it 20⭐s if I could. It has family drama, MC issues, secrets. steamy passionate moments, and love. So when you add an overzealous parent, an overprotective suitor, and well meaning friends, you get even more spice than you can handle. Whew!😁 This talented author deserves a standing ovation for her superb writing. She gets you laughing with the witty banter. She grabs your attention from the beginning and doesn't let go. Her descriptive writing has you so involved in her characters lives that you find yourself giving them advice or a good talking to. So had to give some well meaning firm words to Felicity.😁 Cut the apron strings and strive for your dreams. Don't marry someone you don't love. Guess you'll have to get this ebook is find out why I said this. I guarantee that you will love this ebook as much as I do. I most definitely encourage you to get this surefire hit. You won't be disappointed I promise!😁❤.

On her weekend out of town, Faith is caught in a place she knows she shouldn't be in. The bar scene isn't for her but having never been in one, it sounded so exciting. She comes from a totally different world and when a fight breaks out, she's frozen like a deer in headlights.
Alaska is out of the Army and on the road back to his MC's to discuss his father's betrayal when he decides to stop at the bar to eat. When a fight breaks out, he's about to leave when he sees "her". He's frozen by her beauty as she suddenly becomes the star of his fantasies. He doesn't think twice about rescuing her.
Her fantasy switch is on high as she hangs on to him on the way back to her hotel. She knows she shouldn't but she's willing to go against everything she's been raised to believe in just to be with him.
When she asks him to come in, who is he not to give in to his little princesses needs?
When he wakes up and sees that she's gone, he decides he can't let his dream girl go. Where he finds her comes as the biggest shock to both of them, her father's church!
It doesn't matter where she is, she's his and he's taking her. Well, he is in "Heart Spark" after all.
This may be a short ride but it's full of steamy passion, manipulation and assumptions about what's right and wrong. I enjoyed it and yes, I think it's well worth adding to your library.

The Princess and her Giant Rescuer Biker

Though this novel is light on MC details, it’s big on feelings and emotions and packs a punch for its compact size.
Faith is responsible and chaste, having been forced into rigid boundaries by her overly-righteous pastor father and the constrictions of her church community. With very few true moments of freedom, she visits a friend and a bar, where her eyes are opened. Alaska is on a long hike back to his veteran brothers in the Reaper’s MC and whilst stopping off for a meal, he catches sight of his Princess. This instalove but emotional and heartfelt story sees them come to terms together with the disappointment of both their fathers and their support and acceptance of each other, for exactly who they are.
While this is definitely a case of opposites attracting, Faith helps Alaska to see that he is nothing like his reprehensible father and he allows her the freedom to be the plus-size little wildcat that she is. There is some angst, drama, lessons in right and wrong, steam and a found-family of brothers and sisters that I would love to be a part of. I can’t wait to read the upcoming stories of vibrant characters and the rest of the brothers in “Heart Spark” land!
This is an easy, uncomplicated read and a beautiful little novella that is descriptive and well written, with few typos or grammatical errors.

This is the second book in the Reaper’s Wolves Mountain MC series. It's a spin off from the mountain men of suitors crossing series. But can be read as a complete standalone or part of the series.

This is a classic insta-love short story with an innocent, curvy heroine Faith Harris (28), a preacher’s daughter and army veteran, Nolan “Alaska” Dallas (undermined age but presumed older due to his history - mid 30s?)

Following a chance meeting at No Man’s Land where little Faith is looking to break out of her comfort zone, Alaska saves Faith from a bar fight. The night has some sexy and explosive consequences that alter Faith and Alaska life forever.

This book deals with family drama, purity culture, overzealous religious rules, bigotry and healing. It's a fun, quick, steamy and satisfying read with a sweet HEA.

I can't wait to read Grimm's story next (although the story I am hoping for is Lindy and Timbers - it's could be explosive I know it. )

This is a sweet and sexy series, that draws you in, entertains you and warms the heart.

MMC/FMC- Alaska and Faith
POV- 1st person dual
Genre- MC Romance Lite
Heat- not only do we have the C word and the P word, we have all of the deliciously dirty words that Alaska says to her during zexytime.
Series? Y
Safety: No cheating/sharing, no S. Violence, no OM/OW drama, no cliffhanger. HEA.
Triggers- Religious Trauma/Purity Culture, The Biker’s Trifecta (explicit erotic content, language, violence), Blunt Force Use of Pamphlets.
Tropes- Damsel in Distress, One Night Stand, Virgin Heroine, Instalove, Opposites Attract, Preacher’s Daughter, Talk Dirty to Me, Sins of the Father, Dysfunctional Families FTW.
What I liked- Gotta Love the Instalove! And women supporting women. Loved that they name checked characters from one of my favorite authors, K.L. Savage (squee! Check out their Ruthless Kings Series and the NOLA spin off). And Alaska ♥️. Every time he opens his mouth *swoon*.
What I didn’t- it’s a good thing this is fictional, or I’d be arm wrestling Faith for Alaska.
Verdict- very good. Bennett is one to watch.

Kinda Dark, BUT Still Sweet 🥰

• Plot 📖📖📖📖 /5
• Characters: 🫂🫂🫂🫂
• Drama/Angst: 😰😰😰😰
• Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
• POV: dual
• HEA? ✔️
• Would I re-read? ✔️
• Epilogue? ✔️ (~1 year later, I think)
• NOTE: Has a culty/extreme religious bend to the story

I love this series, and it’s only 2 books so far! This story was a lot darker than the 1st, but still really good.

I found myself really feeling for the FMC. Her father was AWFUL to her and she’s been forced into this submissive (and frankly complexly unvalued) life by her father and his church. She’s never been able to spread her wings for fear of what her extreme father would do to her.

Because of the FMC’s rough life, it really made me love the MMC. I’m so glad, despite his father being a villain (and traitor), he clearly is a VERY GOOD guy. He so quickly loves the FMC and does EVERYTHING he can to try to protect the FMC.

I’m so glad the MMC helps the FMC start living a life she deserves.

I really enjoyed this story and CAN’T WAIT for the next one!!! ❤️🥰

Faith took a weekend for herself. To sow her wild oats. Shes at a bar with a friend when a fight broke out. Scared not able to move when a stranger came took her hand and got her out of there.
Alaska put Faith on the back of his bike and took her to her hotel room. He made sure she was safe. When they get there, she asks him up to her room. It's her chance to have some fun with a strong tattooed man. He takes her breathe away. After their night together, Faith actually leaves.
Alaska does everything in his power to find the woman of his dreams. It isn't until he goes to churh with his other biker friends that he sees her. Shocked he walks up to her, picks her up and takes her to the MC compound.
Her father is the preacher and goes to his MC and demand she comes home. He thinks Alaska and his MC buddies are heathens.
Finally Alaska gets Faith to come home for good. She never thought having a weekend fling would be the man she would marry him. She's never been happier.

I am loving this series. Alaska is part of the Reaper’s Wolves MC. The MC is made up of former military men and only have legal business dealings. He has just returned to Suitors Crossing from being a fisherman in Alaska. On his way home he stops at a bar where a fight breaks out. He sees a woman alone that he rescues.
Faith is the sheltered daughter of a very conservative preacher. At 28 she decides she needs a weekend away. She goes to a bar with a friend where she meets Alaska.
There is instant chemistry between these two. The steam is 🌶️🌶️ in this one. We see alit of growth in Faith’s character in the book. She starts out meek and shy and ends up finally standing up for herself and becoming independent and sassy.
Alaska is a dominant alpha male who is possessive. Once he claimed his woman she is off limits to everyone else. Such a great read of individual growth and overcoming family challenges.

Faith, 28, grew up under the strict rules of her father, a pastor. When out with a friend for a weekend away, the friend takes her to a biker bar and then leaves her there when a brawl breaks out. Alaska is part of an MC and is heading home when he stops off to eat at a bar, but he finds Faith there, scared and frozen still, so he gets her out of there and takes her back to her hotel for safety. She asks him to her room and the sparks fly, causing her disorientation between her upbringing and what she has seen. She bugs out early and he only has her first name. Surprising events unfold as he finds her at a church. That does not deter him though as he knows they belong together. The action, drama, danger, leaving her father, his father showing up, fun with the book club and more kept the pages turning. Well done.

Alaska’s Lady is the second book in Hallie Bennett’s new Reaper’s Wolves Mountain MC series. This happily ever after, insta-love short story features innocent, curvy girl Faith Harris, a preacher’s daughter and army veteran, Nolan “Alaska” Dallas.

A chance meeting at No Man’s Land leads to an explosive and passionate encounter between Alaska and Faith. Now all Alaska and Faith have to do is overcome the family issues that are trying to keep them apart. Will they succeed? It was a quick read, mild drama, very enjoyable and heartwarming.

Reaper’s Wolves Mountain MC is a spin-off series from Bennett's Mountain Men of Suitor's Crossing series. I am looking forward to reading the next story in this sweet series.

Faith is a preacher’s daughter and certain things are expected of her. She meets all of those expectations because her father is quite controlling. One weekend, she heads to the city to let her hair down. There, she meets Alaska. He decides that they belong together on sight. Alaska is a veteran who is now in an MC. The spend a night together and then Faith sneaks out.
Alaska makes it his goal to find her and when he does, it is for keeps. Faith’s father and congregation believe the MC to be sinners and Godless. They work against the MC in every possible way. Faith finds it difficult to disconnect from her father and Alaska is patient with her.
I love that Faith is a BBW. I have only read a handful of this author’s work but I have enjoyed them all. This book was an excellent read!.

Where do I start!? I devoured d this book!! I have all the love for Hallie and this series is off to a great start with Alaska's story being book 2.

Alaska arrives back in town after hearing about his dad's betrayal to the club (read Snow's Woman for the nitty gritty details 😉) and when he arrives he meets a beautiful woman, Faith, but all too soon she's gone. The last place he expects to find her? Church!!

I loved this story of Faith and Alaska. Both overcoming the way their dad's behave, each in different ways, Faith struggling to find their place without being in her father's control, and Alaska trying not to let his dad's betrayal become him. They are a beautiful couple and watching them grow together in this book is lovely to see.

I can't wait for the next installment in this series 🤗.

Alaska's Lady is the second book in the Reaper's Wolves Mountain MC series, and it introduces us to Faith, a curvy preacher's daughter who does everything her father and her church expect of her, and Alaska, an older military vet returning home to his MC. Faith and Alaska meet during an MC bar fight in which he saves her and gets her out safely. He falls immediately. They have a super steamy connection and she returns home. Alaska is determined to find her and make her his.
I loved this book, and I loved Faith finding herself and discovering the truth about her father's wishes for her. Alaska and Faith are perfect for each other and they are combustible on-page together. It's a quick steamy insta-love novella, and I definitely recommend it!

Alaska's Lady is book 2 in the Reaper's Wolves Mountain MC series. It is a short and steamy, instalust/instalove, OTT, curvy girl gets her mountain man biker romance. Faith is a curvy preacher's daughter who was raised in a strict purity culture with a zealot father. Alaska is a burly, hunky, ex-military, mountain MC man. He has his own issues with a dishonest daddy. When Alaska saves Faith in a bar, she asks him back to her hotel and sparks fly. Faith was a virgin but had some lingering guilt the next day and left without a trace. But Alaska is determined to find her. Will this unlikely pair find love? Can they realize they are not their parents? Yes, and yes!! The chemistry was hot. I loved how Alaska was both alpha and teddy bear to Faith. We also get a great HEA. I can't wait for Grim and Timber's stories!!.

The second book in Hallie Bennett's Reaper's Wolves Mountain MC is the deliciously steamy Alaska's Lady. Pastor's daughter Faith and ex-military / Reaper's Wolves MC member Alaska share a steamy night together when both are in Seattle. Panicked the morning after, Faith high tails it home, never expecting to see Alaska again. Although he's been looking for her since his return to Suitor's Crossing, both are shocked a couple weeks later when he and his MC brothers walk into her father's church. Will two people from two very completely different worlds find their way together or will her overbearing conservative father succeed at keeping them miles apart? A wonderfully entertaining, super steamy instalove romance well worth a read.

Reaper’s Wolves MC biker Alaska/Nolan (H) comes to the rescue when Faith (h) is caught in a bar when a fight breaks out between two other MC groups. Curvy, innocent Faith finds herself drawn to Alaska and the two share a night together before she sneaks out the next morning, struggling with her actions of the night before and her conservative, religious upbringing. Alaska tries to find Faith but is surprised when she turns out to be the daughter of the local church preacher who’s been harassing the Reaper’s Wolves members. Faith is forced into a difficult position of choosing her father and the lifestyle he wants for her, or Alaska and the life she needs. Sweet and spicy MC quickie romance with plenty of heat, family drama, and a side of danger.

4.6⭐️ Rough & Wild meets Sweet & Meek

I really enjoy reading Hallie Bennett’s quick MC romances. I can read them in a few hours, but they have a great story line that sucks you in. They’re steamy, but usually deal with some kind of life revelation & learning to love yourself the way you are. I have to say that this story hit closer to home than usual. I grew up in a religious home (although not as strict & horrible as Faith’s) & thought many of the same things as she did about purity & had lots of guilt when I was younger. I was able to work through all that & it was nice seeing Faith able to do that, too. Alaska was the perfect combination of rough & sweet. I was happy for a HEA.

So this story features heavily misogynistic religious beliefs that would not appeal to some readers. That said I found the scenes between Faith and her pastor father not my favorite. She’s firmly held on a tight leash by her loyalties to her father and his congregation’s image of him as their moral compass. When she manages to get away for a girls weekend Alaska finds her caught up in the middle of a brawl in a biker bar. He rescues her and is the catalyst for her to question the path her father has laid out. Lots of tension and angsty decisions that end in a bittersweet happily ever after. Kind of intense but well done with a nice pacing of the highs and lows.

'Alaska's Lady' was amusing. The 3.5-star plot was focused on a preacher's twenty-eight-year-old naive daughter who hadn't been in a relationship with a man until she met Alaska (Nolan). Fireworks flew here and there because some members of the church's congregation found the motorcycle club of which Alaska is a member deplorable. To top it off, the preacher had given Faith, his daughter, an ultimatum about either marrying Beau (a deacon) or moving out. With budding friendships and Faith's taste of freedom, interesting developments occur. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this book because Alaska was just a bit much and crude for my liking until things shifted toward the end.

Nolan (Alaska) and Faith both have the worst father's imaginable, but thankfully they both are nothing like their dads. Instead they are both caring, loving and until seeing each other, didn't believe in heart sparks. But Alaska sure does after spotting Faith in No Man's Land. She just wanted a night to forget her life and cut loose and be free. Never thought she'd find the man of her fantasies while doing so. A hot and steamy story that carries over with the story line from Snow's Woman. I recommend reading that one first, but this is a stand alone story, and can be read without reading the first one. You'll just enjoy this one more having read the first.

I. Love. This. Series. It has been awesome. I loved that Alaska was book two. With everything that happened with his dad in book one, I loved getting to know him. He was utter perfection. The perfect MMC. I loved Faith too. She's been weighed down my super conservative expectations. Well, and seriously outdated even for Christians. And I'm speaking as one. She needed Alaska in her life. A man who would build her up, support her and truly love her. Not keep her in a little box of expectations. And the way their story ended with the last thing she said to her dad? Yes! Well done, Hallie! It was perfect. Can't wait for the rest.
