This book is full of humorous adventures of the author, her husband, and their two cats. Anyone who is a cat lover will be delighted, and feel some sympathy for the stars of this work.

Lessons In Stalking is a collection of stories that capture some of the special issues and challenges that cat companions face whether the story is a shared experience vis multiple cats or something uniquely her cats.
The book explores the author's experiences in one of two ways. First the book is divided into two parts with stories in the first part being exclusively her first and older cat while those in the second section are with the addition of her second cat. From there the stories are just basically episodes that don't reflect any particular chronological order.
Most of the stories are brief and simply prance off to the next one once you have finished what you are on. For whatever reason the author chose not to name either of her cats although you can find the names within the book via a bit digging and although bits of the cats' personalities shine through, there are some exaggerations. Furthermore the human personalities mind to take over and provide a toxic-seeking relationship with two people who are probably the most unappealing people to be around if you can judge them by these stories.
Each chapter has a small black-and-white cartoonish illustration as portrayed by the cover of events that are meant to unfold in that chapter. At one point towards the end it seemed like there were suppose to be included colored photographs but they were MIA. Trying the hyperlink to the included author's website, although it pulled up, other portions did not, including the portions for meeting said cats.
Unfortunately also and I am not quite sure if it was just a glitch of my copy or a book-wide issue but there were a few spots that had random numbers or even header-type (i.e. Kitty Nightingales 74 Lessons in Stalking) entries that interrupted the text. Other times conversations were split and would be in two parts.
Finally readers will find about fifteen pages included of filler whether reviews, order forms, a Table of Contents hyperlink taking you to the front of the book and the necessary pages found in any book.
Slightly humorous and relatable is what kept me engaged but it isn't a book that I will want to return to for a second time.

This is a book for people with cats! I'm sure you will laugh out loud at the cats antics and think of how often some of those things happened to you. I thoroughly enjoyed it

Too true, too funny
If you live with a spoiled rotten cat this is a must read. I have lived through most of these scenarios, not the butt wiping. At least not yet!
This morning, Mr. Bennett Snow (cat extraordinaire), was banging the blinds against the window to get me up to fix his breakfast, brush him, then let him out for his morning constitutional. It was much funnier when I read about it last night than when I lived it this A.M.!
If you love cats and have ever served a cat you will laugh till you cry while reading this book.
Thank you Dena for showing us the humorous side of being a servant to a Felix catus.

If you're a cat person, you've got to check out this book. I'm actually a dog person...and yet I laughed out loud when I read parts of this! I've given it as gifts for cat friends who have also raved about it.

Hilarious
If you have ever been owned by a car, this book is for you. If you have never been owned by a car, this book will explain the perpetually harried look of a cat owned. Too, too funny and oh so true!

Very cute, and easy for a cat owner to identify with. The formatting was kind of screwy, though - page numbers kept showing up in the middle of text.
