This book just did not live up to the hype. Although there are useful nuggets of good advice and suggestions interlaced throughout the book it no longer feels as relevant as it may have been years ago. Many of the companies listed as "great" have either failed, are corrupt, sell devastating products, or are just gone. It has been years since this book was originally published and it needs to be cleaned up and rearranged to be relevant. The author tried to update in a FAQ section in the back, but it felt half-hearted and didn't really address my concerns.
Very motivating and intriguing book. Let me be clear, I never read non-fiction because I love the story that's behind fiction rather than the regurgitated facts of non-fiction. However, the author does a great job of introducing real life stories and events to keep this book interesting while also resonating with me as I continue my career. A must read!
The book was packed full of good advice, logical without being a heavy read and it made good sense. I recommend it for business owners. We can all do with exposure to some new ideas.
