Finally, it seems that Priscilla and Stephen can live their newly married life in peace and away from scandals and lies since Susie and her family were told they were no longer welcome in their community's church as Susie had told one too many lies and pushed the Bishop over his threshold and refused to let her take her vows to prepare her for the next level. Now months later Priscilla and Stephen have gone to town for crops to plant and Priscilla spots Susie - she has changed and looks worse for wear - this isn't the same stunning girl who bullied her like crazy. Priscilla thought that the bullying would stop when Susie moved away but seems that Susie's friends especially Sylvia have been receiving strange and threatening letters all about Priscilla and the consequences of being Priscilla's friend. It has caused so much stress to Sylvia's health and what will happen when Susie accuses once again Stephen and Priscilla of harassing her and this time gets her new Bishop to approach Stephen and Priscilla? Find out in the final book of the Amish of Ephrata series "The Clothes Line" by Sarah Price. I have very much enjoyed this series as I love the strong faithful and godly example that Priscilla has presented in the series as her character is so strong that it is truly an inspiration for those who have ever had their faith tested in any situation. If you are looking for an Amish series that also focuses on the modern topic of Bullying, then look no further with the Amish of Ephrata series by Sarah Price.

Meh

Did not like this book. I felt it did a great disservice to the Amish people. Priscilla was weak and childish in this book. Obviously Susie was mentally ill and Priscilla's focus on forgiving and praying instead of disclosing allowed Susie to continue her damage. And when she saw Susie again, her focus was on the physical changes she observed i. e. weight gain and colored hair. Very disappointing.

This was a very good book. I liked that it had a lot of details; however, I wish that the book would be a little longer.

I liked this book but I just wanted to slap Susie Byler. She was a big bully to Precilla.

Bullying. Rumors. Lies. Gossip. All can be hurtful, but it's how you respond as a victim that everyone seems to be watching more than the Bully.

In The Clothes Line , Sarah Price writes about bullying in one of the Amish communities of Ephrata, PA. Priscilla Smucker is newly married and is trying to run her home and help Stephen with the farm chores. While not being Susie's target, Susie is targeting Priscilla's friends, especially Sylvia. Sylvia is on the receiving end of the mean comments from Susie, a jealous, young lady in her community and is using Priscilla's good name. Susie gets the community gossip talking again even when she's not living in the community.

How does Sylvia handle the bullying towards her?
How will Priscilla handle facing Susie?
Will the higher power have something to say about all of the untruths?

Find out by reading the book and or the whole series and take the lesson to heart.

I must say that I liked the face off in this installment. I loved the ending of The Clothes Line as I was wondering the same thing for Stephen and Priscilla.

TRUST and FAITH are two very key components in this whole series.

This is part four of the Amish Novella

This was an excellent read. It brings you things that people deal with
in their everyday lives at times Bullying.
Susie Byler is back at it again. Bullying people by spreading nastry
rumors and lies about them. Her main target is yet again Priscilla.
Who is now happily married to Stephen Esh.
Susie has been stopped from taking the baptism class. She must repent.
Priscilla’s friends know what is going on. Now poor Sylvia
seems to be the target of the bulling. Someone is trying to lay
the blame on Priscilla for this act of bullying. Will this ever end?

This is the last book in Sarah Price's The Amish of Ephrata series. Throughout the series the young protagonist, Priscilla, is taunted by another member of the community.

Yes, the stories read like most teen books, but I believe that's the point. Each book carries a reminder: You cannot control other people, but you can control your reaction.

These are very fast reads, so don't expect a lot of depth. Actually, given the length of each book, Price does a great job of building a detailed story in a few short pages.

Short novella continuing the Amish of Ephrata series. I really enjoy Amish fiction. I really like Sarah Price as a writer. That said I think this series has run its course. It has for me. This is a continuation of the bullying by Susie and the heartache she causes.
I simply had trouble finishing this novella...Yawn

Priscilla is married to Stephen Esh and they are making their new life together on their new farm. Everything seems wonderful until Priscilla sees and hears news about Susie Byler--she is up to her old tricks. Can Priscilla forgive her?

Enjoyable but ends abruptly

The stories was okay but there didn't seem to tie up the ends. the series could have actually been one book, yet needs another section to tie everything up.

The Clothes Line is the fourth book in The Amish of Ephrata series written by Sarah Price. This book takes us back to Intercourse, Pennsylvania and the contuing saga of Priscilla and Stephen Esh. Newly married and finally living in their own home this couple has nothing to worry about or do they? The storyline returns to all the misdeeds that Susie Byler has set in action. Now who is Susie bullying?

I enjoyed the characters through out this series. They give the readers a great ecample of turning the other cheek. The characters are very likeable and realistic.

I am hoping for another book to this series because the isdues that Sylvia is dealing with was not finished and I would like to see how it all ends. Other than this detail I am highly recommending this eries to everyone. It is definitely a wuick read but well worth it.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this amazing book to read and review. I was not approached to post a favorable review. I have rated this book with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that i can highly recommend to all those who love the Amish genre.

Congratulations to to Sarah Price for writing another fantastic book for her series.I will be anticipating more wonderful books from her in the future.
