I loved it! Very well written down to earth book. A truly gifted author who can help anyone who is wondering about their own gifts. I was familiar with most of the items in the book (I honestly didn't read the medium part...don't care for spirits/ghosts, big "afraidy cat" here), however this book was a sign for me on many levels. To WRITE MY OWN BOOK for starters! Smiles! There were also a few other statements throughout the book that completely resonated with me. Sentences such as: Try to find peace in the current moment and believe in your dreams. *Part of your impatience is that you are such a powerful manifestation at a soul level that it is hard for you to wait for the physical to catch up.* Lisa, I can't thank you enough for choosing me to be one of the recipients of the Goodreads drawing for your book. I am filled with gratitude to you and the Universe for the verification of "signs" I very much needed to hear.

Tenía muchas ganas de leer este libro porque me lo habían recomendado varias personas que entienden del tema, y una vez finalizada la lectura, siento que no ha cumplido mis expectativas.
En general, el libro está bien escrito y tiene una prosa fluida, aunque han cometido algunos errores ortográficos y tipográficos en la traducción. Dejando esto de lado, siento que la autora se queda en la superficie de la mayoría de los temas que toca. Sé, que este tipo de temáticas no son respaldadas por la ciencia y que son muy controvertidas y discutidas, pero es poco creíble cuando la única base en la que se sustenta el libro es la palabra de la autora. Sin olvidar que, en repetidas ocasiones dice: «es mi verdad y puede no serlo para ti». Me ha faltado algo más de veracidad y corazón en el libro, escudarse en lágrimas cuando no se sabe cómo explicar algo me parece irrisorio… (Y que conste que yo sí creo en este tipo de cosas. Creo que el enfoque tendría que haber sido algo distinto, eso es todo).
En resumen, si te gusta el mundo esotérico y de espíritus, de médiums y cartas de tarots… ¡Te recomiendo leerlo porque aprenderás algunas cosas! Si buscas información detallada sobre este tipo de temas, creo que hay otros libros que podrían resultar más interesantes.

In general, I have to say I liked it as it's a well-written, easy read while at the same time being packed with information. Although whether some of the provided information will be useful to a reader is debatable, I could resonate with most of the book (except for the chapters on angels and ascendent masters, as it falls out of my personal beliefs). So, where do my mixed feelings come from then?
To me, the book's main flaw lies in how it's written, as it's not the most inclusive. I just don't think this book is the best choice for beginners as far as developing your psychic gifts (including the practical side of mediumship) goes. It makes sense considering the author's personal journey in that field, but I find it hard to imagine how a total beginner can make the just out of it. Nevertheless, it's still a good read if you seek validation and want to feel seen. The book provides us with excellent (although oftentimes quite general) knowledge in many fields. It simply doesn't show us the practical side of this practice. So, if you want to dip your toes into the world of Mediums, Psychics and Intuitives, then this is a great place to start. Just don't go into it thinking you will learn how to do readings, as the author assumes you already know the basics and can seek some simple knowledge from the other side.

Interesting book
I could relate to some things, others I could not, such as being from Atlantis, or sitting around a table making contracts for your life. The author state she make a contract before she was born basically to be abused by her father. WTH?? like I said the beginning of the book is useful and we'll written.

This book is not for the skeptical and/or deeply curious, of which I am one. I read the book quickly, and I was genuinely interested in what Andres had to say about these things, but it seems light on substance even given one’s feelings on the main topic.

I always wondered how mediums, psychics and intuitves were able to manifest into words what they perceived; this book gives great insight into that and more.

I was lead to this book by my angels
I have several good friends that are psychic/mediums and I always have questions to ask them but I wanted to find my own answers and I was guided to this book.
It was offered as a freebie a while ago but I didn’t download it. But today I did and this is a wonderful book!! Very informed!! Well written, there are similar books out there but this one I actually understand and totally relate to!!
An amazing book!! I can’t stop raving about it!! If you’d like tp know about the angels, archangels this is a good book to start with. Each chapter will help you along.

I am so grateful for this book!
I am a reader. I have read over 300 books in approximately the last 2 1/2 years. I have been searching for purpose in a world that often seemed cold. Due to my gifts, I thought I was going crazy on one hand,... 1on the other hand... it's all I've ever known, so it's sort of normal.
Out of all those books... "Gifted" has saved me. It's as if everything fell into place. I don't feel crazy anymore. I see my syncronicities. Thank you Lisa. Now I can help others,. Finally... It all makes sense. I will sleep well tonight, for the first time in years. I feel relieved, content, and not an ounce of fear. I am so grateful... Thank you so much!

Somente em 2/3 finais do livro que gostei. A parte dos anjos e assim mesmo, achei um pouco difícil de acreditar. Algumas coisas achei estranhas como a existência de Avalon, Fadas, outros seres que considerei a vida toda mitos.
Eu esperava a vivência como médium e suas experiencias, e as que ela relatou me pareceram vagas. A parte final é mais sobre pesquisas que ela transpôs para o livro dela.

I enjoyed this book and really learned a lot about myself and others around me . I also enjoyed the fact that the I formation wasn't stuffy, it was the author speaking as if they were right in front of me.

August 20, 2013I loved this book! I had many questions regarding mediumship, psychics, past lives, etc. and all of those questions have been answered in this book. I love Lisa's style of writing and I love that she has included her personal experiences and also has exercises for you to do. I highly recommend "Gifted" by Lisa Andres!

Easy to understand
I love books that teach me something. Many of the things in this book I "already knew yet didn't know how I knew" and this book confirmed many topics for me. I left feeling at peace and knowing I had more tools to use in my daily life. I will be looking for more books by Lisa Andres.

Found this book to be quite interesting. So much helpfulness in her writing, words from her experiences. She highlights teachers & books that changed her life. I believe She changes lives each time this book is read. This book held answers for me, I would highly recommend.

A highly recommended read for anyone interested in the process of intuition. Have you ever felt like you may be a sensitive or a medium. Do you know things without knowing how you know? Gifted may be the book with the answers for you. A Must read. Five out of Five Gold Stars.
