A self-help book with a heart!
"The fact is we're just getting warmed up."
I really liked how Michael insisted on cutting out the middle-man - the ritual or rigmarole parts that always make my eyes roll whenever I read an advice book.
"Just Ask the Universe is not a book of New Age gobbledygook filled with empty promise."
One of the core teachings is to MB for what you want, and no this isn't a meditate-and-think (though it can be if you want it to), this is a literal ask the universe-what-you-want sort of shtick.
"Only the Universe can make it happen by connecting you two together, and it will be in the way you least expect."
Overall, this ended up being a fun, short read! I enjoyed the tone and the content - and I look forward to reading more by him!
"Details! It's all about the details, details, details!"
