Rate this book
A new trilogy by best-selling author of Amish Christian Romances, Sarah Price, and Helping Hands Press' own Whoopie Pie Pam Jarrell. The first book immediately hit #1 in the Amish genre as well as an Amazon Top 100 within days.
In Book 2 of the series, readers will continue following the story of four Amish sisters who run Whoopie Pie Place, the best known bakery outside of Berlin, Ohio. Each sister has a secret that influences their lives and, unknowingly, impacts each other. Yet, little by little, the pressure of balancing their responsibilities of their daily lives with their individual secrets becomes harder to manage. Leah, Susan, Lydia, and Sadie need to decide whether or not to confide in each other in order to gain the support of their family. As secrets begin to be revealed, more problems ensue. Can Leah continue to hold the family together? Will Susie address her issues at home? Will Lydia admit what everyone else knows? How can Sadie maintain her balance when faced with life-changing decisions?

Oh, I am just furious! for sure and for certain, I am.....Sarah Price and Whoopie Pie Pam Jarrell left me hangin' over a BIG cliff with that ending! I was sailing along with my reading and enjoying every tiny little word and then....boom! they left me hangin'! I love reading a book where some of the characters are actually friends I converse with online frequently. It made this book seem somehow personal to me. More secrets surface in Book 2 and it seems more secrets will be revealed and hopefully resolved in Book 3. I can hardly wait for Book 3 so I can find out what happens to the wonderful friends and sisters at Whoopie Pie Place. Read it....you might be mad but you won't be sorry.
I purchased a copy of this ebook for myself with a gift card I won in a giveaway.

"The Divine Secrets Of the Whoopie Pie Sisters- Book Two-An Amish Christian Trilogy" by Sarah Price and Whoopie Pie Pam Jarrell is another five stars story.

Book Two continues with the problems that the sisters face in Book one, but this time the problems are explored more and we learn more about how the Amish have the same problems and worries that we do.

In Book two we learn that Tobias is really sick and we learn a bigger secret about him and his siblings. ( This secret was such a shock to me, this was one I really didn't see coming).

Sadie has a illness as well and is afraid to add any burdens to Leah but she better tell her sisters soon because Leah and Lydia and Tobias have their ideals about what is wrong with her and they are so wrong, (if only they were right, instead of the real problem.

Susie's secret is finally out of the bag as to why her marriage is anything but happy.

Lydia is stll having a lot of illness and now her husband is making her deal with them'

In the middle of all these storms, Leah is trying to deal with two major orders that she agreed to do in Book one.

I had to read this in one setting and wasn't disappointed with it all. Well I was a little because I have to wait till 2014 to see how it all ends.

It is good to read a different type of Amish story, one that is full of real life and heartaches and even through this is fiction, this story has Real Life and even through I know the characters aren't real I find myself actually wanting to pray for these four sisters, Sarah and Pam wrote this story so well, I could actually feel the pain that this family is going through.

Even through this story is fiction I believe what makes it real, is that Sarah and Pam have a love for the Amish and some of the storyline is based on actual fact.

I am eagerly awaiting Book 3 and I want a happy ever after ending,( I know not real life at all, but the book is fiction after all).

Wow! Another awesome book, that is short, but nevertheless has much meaning! Maybe some readers might view this and the book before, as too much drama, but I don't feel that way. Though the plot and the characters are Amish, I can relate to some of the personal problems- people are people. Anyway, I admire the way the characters in this story are dealing with it, their foundation strong on their faith and family. An excellent book, and so want to know already what happens next! I will be patient and wait until Jan.2015, when the 3rd book of this series comes out?

Loved book one, liked book two. I would put loved book two, but it was too short! This sequel I would consider a short story! I am intrigued by the characters, but I do not know if I want to continue the series if book three does not come out for a year. 2 stars due to the short story aspect, but 3 stars for the story line.

The story continues to draw me in. The stories are all well developed despite there being so much going on.
