Even though it's tempting,
That's not where that stuff goes.

This was a cute book. It is a creative and fun way to teach kids the inappropriate things to stick in the different holes of their face/head. The rhyming is fun and catchy too.

I read this to the kids, who wanted me to read it a few more times, and they spent the next few hours talking about all the things that you can't put in your ears, nose or mouth - even taught this to the dolls in the play area.

Note: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review. No other consideration was offered, expected or received.

Don’t Stick Sticks Up Your Nose, Don’t Stuff Stuff In Your Ears, is really a delightful help book for parents of toddlers. The pictures are enticing for youngsters, and the rhyming words draw their attention.
We all know how little ones like to put things, where they don’t belong. A help book for pointing out to little curious ones that it is not ok. They can chew on the cardboard book as you read along, and eye-popping drawings show what can go wrong.
For parents now there is a book that might help with that frustration and rushed visits to the doctor or emergency room. The book is co-authored by a physician, and I’ll bet he has surely run into these problems.
When I shared this with our six year old, he was delighted with the rhyming and the pictures of what these kids do with stuff. He would never have done any of this, oh no, not him. Then I remind him of things. Oh No!! Guess he doesn’t, or chooses not, to remember.
This is one cute, eye drawing, sturdy book, that you really should add to your child’s library.

I received this book from New Shelves Distribution, and was not required to give a positive review.

You've been there right? Maybe it was you as a child sticking something where it didn't belong, or maybe it was your child? I remember the first time I stuck a gummy up my nose..I don't know what I was thinking, but boy did that hurt! I was lucky and managed to get it out by myself.

My 3 year old wasn't as lucky as me. We had recently moved here, and were headed over to my parents for dinner. Barely out of our neighborhood, and there is a sudden crying of pain - our 3 year old had a small bead and had decided to stick it up her nose. We pulled over and tried as quickly as we could to get her to blow it out, but all she could figure out was to suck it in more. That was one bill I never expected to cost so much, but with a good dr, we got it out.

I absolutely LOVED reading this book with her. We haven't had any more incidents, but you can never be too careful. She has loved sitting on my lap and showing me all the pictures and things that should never ever be stuck in our nose and ears.

This book is a children's book written by an ENT doctor to help children learn not to stick things in their ears or nose that don't belong there. I read this story to my two young children and they completely understood the concept and the message that was trying the be conveyed. They enjoyed the pictures which clearly showed what should and should not be done. The rhyme and repetition was also beneficial and great for use in a children's book. As an adult, I understand the concept for the front cover; however, it was actually frightening to my children. They couldn't see that it was just a nose and ears with eyes. The ending of the book also has some Jewish phrases in it that honestly just did not seem to fit. I love that it is incorporated into the book, but maybe if it was throughout instead of just at the end. I would recommend this book for preschool aged children. I think that this book would be a wonderful asset to ENT doctor's offices as well as pediatrician's offices in the waiting rooms. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Don’t Stick Sticks Up Your Nose is a very cute and entertaining story for little kids. The book’s story is all about not putting things in your ears, nose etc, told in a rhyme and is silly enough to hold a kid’s attention but still manages to get the point across. The pictures are cute and help support the message. I think that this would be a really good book for preschool age or kindergarteners, great for teachers or parents who are wanting to show kids to think about what they should not do with their toys. This could be a good story for kids’ circle time (story time) to support talking about the rules for toys and making good decisions. All in all, this is a book I think kids will like and learn from.
