“‘The Woz’ built the first [personal computer]—by hand, himself.”—USA Today
A real life one-day experience, read how it felt for an Apple fanboy when he met Stephen Gary "Steve" Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Inc, who single-handedly invented both the Apple I and Apple II computers in the 1970s.
This short storybook is a detailed account of how Waseef Akhtar had a chance to meet and hang out with one of his hero "Woz", when he visited Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in February, 2013. He found this once-in-a-life-time opportunity such an incredible experience that he decided to document it in a book and share it with the world.
The book also includes a short private audio interview with Woz just prior to his TV interview.
Meet Waseef Akhtar - a native of Pakistan’s most picturesque province, Khyber Paktunkhwa. Having been brought up in the cosmopolitan capital of Saudi Arabia, he is currently an Android Developer at Degoo Backup AB. Waseef’s experiences range from building front-end and back-end of applications, and he loves working on projects with a team that cares about creating beautiful and usable interfaces. Passionate about technology and design, Akhtar’s favorite technology brand is Apple (not surprising given he has worked for them and has personally met its cofounder, Steve Wozniak!). He sees himself setting up a company in Silicon Valley, one day, where his heroes have invented groundbreaking technology and have innovated a plethora of design trends. You can find him on several social networking websites by simply looking up his name on a search engine.
