This book contains sexual encounters and graphic language that some readers may find objectionable, including, but not limited m/f, m/m, m/f/m, m/m/f encounters. Contains graphic material that is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Nicole Edwards spends her days stringing words together to make complete sentences. Sometimes not. Her best friend is coffee, and she has a love/hate relationship with sarcasm. She’s been accused of having a filthy imagination, which she admits is true.
Nicole lives in the suburbs of Austin, Texas. She proudly claims one husband, three grown children, and two bosses (better known as the dogs). When she isn’t writing, watching football or hockey, or keeping her bosses happy, you can probably find her with a book in hand.

I adore everything about Christmas and this is my first festive read this year and I loved every second of it. How much do I want to snuggle up to my very own Walker Brother and watch A Wonderful Life and think about what happens after the movie!!
I don’t think it’s any secret that I’m a huge Nicole Edwards fan and have been ever since I first stepped into her sexy world when I read Kaleb. Since then I’ve read absolutely everything she’s written and Holidays with the Walker Brothers is just such a treat. We get to catch up with each brother, both those who have already had their story told and those whose story is still yet to be told and it’s an absolute smörgåsbord of erotica - a real sexy, kinky glimpse into their world.
Most of the story centres around the home of the original Alpha-Walker himself, Curtis and his lovely wife Lorrie – the Walker Mom and Dad and, even with fifty years of marriage under their belts, there’s still a twinkle in those eyes. And so you’d expect – these gorgeous sexy cowboys were raised by them after all!
They’re looking fondly at their boys that are now settled and happy with their forever guys and gals. Kaleb and Zoey as they eagerly await the arrival of their baby – don’t expect pregnancy to have put a dampener on their sex life. We’re treated to a couple of sexy scenes and some really sweet ones with these two.
Zane (my absolute fave Walker Boy) and his V – I just adore these two together. They’re an incredibly sexual couple and the fire that burned so bright in Zane for his V has not dimmed one iota and these two can hardly keep their hands off each other, always finding ways to sneak away from the crowd and indulge that incredible incendiary attraction that zings between them.
We also catch up with Travis, Gage and Kylie and it’s a thrill to see the eldest Walker Brother finally happy with the man and woman of his dreams. Needless to say that you’re going to get some down and dirty really thrilling ménage scenes with these three.
So that leaves us with sexy Sawyer, Brendon and Braydon (the naughty twins) and Ethan, the stoic loner of the group who’s got a bit of a Bah Humbug cloud hanging over him right now. They’re definitely not lacking in action in this book and I think their story’s are all perfectly lined up in this one – I think I can see where Nic’s going next with all four of these and I just can’t wait. I think 2014 is likely to be another vintage year for Alluring Indulgence stories. Can’t wait!!
Nicole Edwards does a fantastic job of giving each brother equal and meaningful page time allowing them all to go off and do their thing without it ever feeling staged and, at the same, keeping the story moving along. The pacing is, as always, perfect and I quite literally devoured this, totally unable to put it down.
Fans of the series will absolutely not want to miss this Christmas Special – it’s entertaining, sexy, a real feel-good experience and I loved every second and read this in one sitting with a big ole goofy grin on my face. The writing is perfect for me and the words zip by at a rate of knots – they always do for me when I read Nicole Edwards. She’s absolutely my go-to author for erotic romance and she writes fantastic characters who are just larger than life and vividly live in my imagination. I can see them clearly as I read and I truly feel like I’ve really got to know them over the past few books. This is a really special festive treat from Nicole Edwards quite clearly written with her fans in mind. She knows exactly what they want and she delivers brilliantly. It’s perfect!
Holidays with the Walker Brothers was the fourth book in the Alluring Indulgence series by Nicole Edwards.
I continue to love Edwards writing style. The bond within the Walker Family was strong exhibiting love, bantering, loads of humor, and loyalty.
It was told in a multiple POV: Zane/V, Sawyer, Kaleb/Zoey, Gage/Travis/Kylie, Ethan, Beau, Brendon, Braydon, Jessie, and Curtis/Lorrie; which covers the Walker parents, all siblings, and a few family friends.
The sole purpose of the book seemed to be to update us on the couples to date as well as set the stage for the remaining books in the series. I loved getting everyone's perspective for the holidays and their current state of life. It was a great way to refresh my memory on the previous books, prep me for the future and to provide a bridge leading straight to the next book, Ethan.
Soooooo...I decided I wanted to read Ethan's first kiss. Because I felt bad that I didn't like his book so yeah, I just thought reading their background was a good idea.
It wasn't. For me. It might be for you. Don't hate me please!
I've only read 2 books on this series but seriously, this is like reading porn and don't get me wrong. I LOVE PORN, I just don't enjoy it that much when reading it. I sometimes need a plot. Just sometimes.
I absolutely love Nicole's books she gets me every damn time, you are sure to get sizzling sexy scenes mixed with family, friendships and I personally 'feel' every emotion right alongside with each brother and each couple. If each brother has found or has yet to find their happiness yet this is a perfect Winter read in the lead up to the Christmas celebrations.
First of all I felt that Curtis and Lorrie were the core to this story, they are very much in love still after many years of marriage and after bringing up 7 big strong men that must have been a rowdy household but Lorrie knows how to butter them up and 'matchmake' wink wink.... and Curtis knows how to deal with them as a father should they both know their boys well.
So here we start of on Thanksgiving after having a family get together with each other and their other halves they proceed to put the Christmas decorations up as they do each year together and in that they argue, banter and laugh.
You then go from one couple/trio to the next enjoying each other, getting together on nights out to intimate times with their loved ones. I will say however much I love Kaleb, zoey, Zane and V and them enjoying their first Christmas's together enjoying for Kaleb and zoey what they will soon become a family of their own, from best friends and now husband and wife and Zane and V just enjoying their relationship and being in love I have to say Travis, Gage and Kylie are my favourite to date I loved them finding Christmas presents for each other and finding time for each other even if that is not the 'norm' their is definitely something special for that relationship and I look forward to reading them to grow in future books.
You can expect a lot of this...
and some of...
And to feel a lot of this...
So I digress, There is 7 brothers here and well I don't want to give anything away but you flit from brother to brother, from parent to parent, from lover to lover and so on and get the whole picture of this fabulous family you not only get the ones we have already read but we see more into Brendon and Braydon and well I have previously have to admit that they weren't my favourites and to be honest haven't connected to them for one and secondly found them to be arseholes to be frank but well I am happily surprised at the turn of events and emotions that I felt that I read when I was with the twins and am now looking forward to their stories.
Then here we have lonely Ethan, what can I say I have a soft pot for him and I AM JUMPING FOR JOY with Nicole's choice with his partner but yippee we're getting a M/M book holy cow I can't wait for it.
Then there's mysterious Sawyer mmm lets see I feel there's a lot more to come with him, currently he's free to do what he wants and 'do' is an accurate word for it cause that that's pretty much what he does, does he want more well read and find out...
So to sum up I'm looking forward to more of these boys in 2014 which is another great year for Nicole I feel and anyone who loves her books will truly enjoy this book for this time of year.
Edit: I decided to finish since it's short, but unfortunately felt the same way. What can ya do? 🤷🏾♀️
Original: DNF @ 43% Idk what's going on. Too many POVs/characters without plot, can't keep up, dozed off a couple of times and woke up like "Who are they talking about now?"
Holidays with the Walker Brothers (Alluring Indulgence 4) by Nicole Edwards 5 stars
I thoroughly enjoyed Holidays with Walker Family!!
All 7 of the Walker boys, their significant others, their parents and close friends make for a hot, heartwarming, engaging and yes leave you wanting a bit more read. A bit more because the brothers who still need to have their stories told are seen and heard from, so yes I want more!!
The book opens with Thanksgiving and moves the reader through the Holiday season with the Walker Family. As this story builds Ms Edwards has me anxious to know what these couples bought each other as gifts and often times the real-life stress about finding the perfect gift rang through the reader. Ms Edwards must be exhausted from Holiday gift shopping as she managed to somehow makes each gift given appropriate and heart warming! Truly speaking to the depth of emotion these characters feel for each other.
I adored the use of Mr and Mrs Walker in this book; Curtis is too funny with his boys and Lorrie well she has some scenes that warmed my heart and brought a smile to my face.
Despite the graphic warning about sex in the description this book transcends that; the sex suits each couple. Yes, you get Zane and his pool table again; yes you get the lovable Kaleb adoring his wife and you get the twins, yes you get Brendon and Brayden (no I am not saying anything else about the twins - read the book). In all cases the sex scenes adds to the story for the couple we already know and love and it builds the story for a few of the men we needs to know more about. And in the case of Ethan… well let's just say I want his book even more than ever as it is clear this man can't run from his emotions much longer.
The reader in given a continuation of this family's life; you see the prior couples and you see glimpses what is to come for the 4 Walker Brothers who stories still need to be told. Sawyer is yet again too funny and his antics has me excited to see this man's heart finally find a home.
Ms Edwards amazed me with her ability to give each character their own voice and each couple their own unique dynamic.
I am so excited for the 4 books still coming in this series; the twins Brendon and Braydon, Sawyer and Ethan… oh Ethan.. I can't wait for this story and for Ms Edward to release her first pure M/M; yes ladies Ethan is a gay man and this book will tell you who he is desperately fighting his attraction to!!
Ms Edwards thank you for the amazing read! It truly brightened my Holiday season! Alluring Indulgence has become one of my favorite series!
This was a wonderful story about the Walker family holidays. We get a look inside of their Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Year's. The relationships of the Walker brothers continue to pack a lot of sizzle, and Nicole Edwards continues to not disappoint with her steamy writing of these hot cowboys!
We get a little story & update on each of the guys. Travis is still happy in his relationship with Kylie & Gage, Kaleb is married to Zoey &they are expecting their first child, Zane and V are engaged, Sawyer is still single, but pining over Kennedy. Ethan is involved in a casual hookup, but is having a hard time fighting his attraction to Beau, & Brendon & Braydon are spending the majority of their time sharing Jessie.
This book was packed full of sexiness & hot men! We continue to get a variety of lovin! ;) I thoroughly enjoyed all the Walker brothers! They are all so yummy! I still love Zane, but am becoming quite fond of Braydon as well! There is just something about those twins! ;)I am also really looking forward to Sawyer finding his HEA! :D
Talk about a naughty christmas! The Walker brothers definitely know how to kick up the heat. I've read every book Nicole Edwards has come out with. From the Club Destiny series to Alluring Indulgence. And have never been disappointed.
This story was hot! But yet had a lot of heart. I liked how it gave a bit of an inside view to each Walker Brother mindset and their significant others. Just when you start getting really into one character's POV, its moves on to the next. My favorite scenes I would say is the menage with those sexy twins Braydon & Brendon. Or Ethan & Beau.
There's such sexual tension between Ethan & Beau that I'm just waiting for them to finally give in to each other. Well Beau seems ready to go & like he's just waiting on Ethan to say the word! lol But I have a feeling, it'll be a while before Ethan eventually comes around hopefully. I feel like Ethan still has so much to work through in his own head. Before getting involved with Beau. Or involved with anyone period.
And then the twins. Both of them having these hot threesomes with Jesse. One of them is beginning to fall for her. The other has fallen for someone else. But figures he can't have that other person so is clinging to what's stable & comfortable. I don't think thats really fair to his other brother or Jesse. But time will tell where they all end up.
And the Walker Parents Lorrie & Curtis are so sweet, and just down to earth people that are so supportive & loving of their children and their unconventional lifestyle. I look forward to read what happens next in this fun family. 4 STARS!
3.5 stars. There is something special about the Walker brothers, I keep wanting to binge the series what will happen next and I usually enjoy the journey. It's not the greatest series but it has something cozy naughty thing about it that makes me want more to read about them.
Wow. A book that chronicles ALL THE MEMBERS of the Walker family...ALL OF THEM. Including their Wives/husbands/fiances/cousins/friends. EACH PERSON HAS A POV. (sorta, it's in 3rd person, but still.) We are following...all these characters..all of them...for an entire 264 page book. It bounces from person to person all throughout, like a game of tag. Guys, this is just a little much, no? C'mon. Seriously,GUYS?
1 book, 7 brothers, 2 parents, 1 cousin, 4 significant others, 3 holidays. ALL FEATURED in no particular order, but the whole gang's here! By the way,are you keeping up? ARE YOU?There's going to be a quiz later.<--Not really, but for fuck's sake, which way's up?
I was getting whiplash trying to keep up with everyone's drama and lust. I get that this book was setting up the remaining books in the series, but seriously? I'd rather have 4 mini-novellas for each soon-to-be-featured character, than have 1 264-page "potluck dinner" style novel, where everyone brings leafy greens, and we all starve cause there's no protein on the table.
I was confused. On more than one occasion, and let me tell you, that did not make me a happy reader. I am dyslexic, so I am constantly transposing letters, words, sequences, and even numbers. I can almost guarantee that when you read this, you'll discover what it's like to live with that learning disability. Then trying to follow the different plot paths was a little much. This had me skimming...A LOT. This meant I barely connected with any of their stories. The only brother/lover situation I cared about was the potential stirrings of the Ethan/Beau romance (which will be what the next book in this series covers). But aside from that, meh. I almost felt as though I could've skipped this and jumped to the next book.
Why the 3 star rating, and not lower? Well, I still am invested in the Walker clan, just not in this book. Based on other ratings/reviews, I'm in the minority. *shrugs*
I am a HUGE Nicole Edwards fan. I love her books. I started with her Club Destiny series, and was all in with the Alluring Indulgence series that came after. As with most long running series, I find that you start feeling a constant state of deja vu. Nicole's writing style typically has me interested, and excited to read on, but lately, I've been finding that I am getting more and more moody as I read her books. Moods=Feelings=Emotions. When I read erotic romance novels, I'm not always expecting it to be all sex and no character/story development. But, I don't always want to find that almost each book has different characters experiencing the same scenarios. Sure, the setting may change, but it still reads and feels the same. GAH, the angst is a little much some times. We're all adults, right? Wake up and smell the maturity. Leave the angst for the YA/NA situations. THERE'S NO ROOM FOR ANGST IN MY EROTICA. Did you hear what I said? (More like, did you read what I wrote?)
I still plan to read the next book titled "Ethan", as I feel it will be a whole new refreshing story as it is completely M/M (sans ménage). I'm interested to see how it will all play out. Until then, I leave you with my 3-star rating rant.
I have enjoyed the first 3 in this series, so I had high hopes for this one. But this type of story is difficult for most authors (I've read 2 successful versions of this). Bringing everyone together (7 brothers!) and giving each one enough page time is challenging. Progressing the interwoven plot-lines is daunting.
Unfortunately, this one falls into the same trap. Not enough to put me off the series, but I'll pause before coming back to it.
I'm just going to post what I wrote on facebook as my review!
I read Holidays with the Walker Brothers by Nicole Edwards and can I just tell you she has yet to disappoint me. I started loving, adoring and worshipping Nicole after reading her Club Destiny series. Especially after reading Luke, Sierra and Cole's book (Sierra you lucky bitch). Nicole was even the inspiration for my first Kinky Korner post on our blog, (www.rebelbookchicks.com ) she may have even inspired more than one. I'll admit after reading Club Destiny I was nervous starting the Alluring Indulgence series wasn't sure how it could live up to CD but I should have known I had nothing to worry about with Nicole. Damn that woman can write hot and steamy like nobodies business. And she gave Luke, Sierra and Cole (my favorite menage) a run for their money when she introduced Travis, Kylie and Gage. So when I heard she wrote a Holiday book with the Walker Brothers I knew I would be all over that little did I know you could actually suffer from Walker Brother overload but believe me it wasn't a bad thing. Unless you count being overheated in almost every chapter bad. Now my only problem is I want more of those Walker Brothers. I want Sawyer, Ethan, Brendon and Braydon's stories. I want to revisit Travis, Kylie and Gage. I blame Nicole for making me a menage book slut and I blame her for ruining me for all other menage authors. (I really do just ask the other Rebel Chicks they hear me say it all the time, I may be driving them crazy) I do have one question though. Are all men in Texas as hot as Nic makes them sound and are they all that kinky? If so I need to start packing my bags.
I'm a huge fan of the Alluring Indulgence-series by Nicole Edwards and I was super excited when I saw she had a little Christmas treat in store for us.
I loved getting to do some catching up with the smoking hot Walker brothers! Let me tell you, these brothers are so great, both together and individually. We get some good scoop on the paired up brothers from the previous books. We also get a lot of hints for what's to come in her future books about the remaining brothers. I can't decide which one I'm more excited for.
This is a must-read for everyone who enjoyed the previous books!
Always great to catch up with the Walkers, and to have the entire clan in one is cowboy-licious!
I enjoyed catching up with those characters I already knew, and watching their journey from Thanksgiving to the New Year. I also very much look forward to reading about the 4 we have yet to meet; Brendon & Braydon..it will end in tears! Sawyer the horndog, and Ethan, poor Ethan! And then, once we have finished with the brothers, we might get to see a cousin...Jared perhaps?!
Nicole ensures she wraps the characters right around you, then ups the steam factor once she has you. Fantastic!
I can honestly say that I’m well into the Christmas spirit after reading what started out as a novella but turned into a full novel from Nicole Edwards.
What a lovely treat to be able to spend time with the delicious Walker boys once again and to revisit their delicious relationships and family life. Although the story leaps from character to character you got enough teasers from Nicole to see the direction of future novels from her. After initially wanting to spend “a lot” more time with Sawyer I am now torn between adding Braydon and Ethan to the list but for me I think Ethan has now stolen my heart, sorry Sawyer!!! I can’t wait to see where Ethan’s self-denied feelings for Beau will head. Sawyer and Kennedy are still tugging at my heart strings as well and I hope Sawyer gets the one Christmas wish that has been eluding him one day.
If you haven’t read Nicole’s books before I would recommend you start at the very beginning with the Club Destiny series so you can get the full picture but it’s not impossible to get to grips with the characters at the start of the Alluring Indulgence series.
If you've read the previous titles in the Alluring Indulgence series then this is a nice catch-up/preview. What? How does one book both catch up and preview? Well, we get to see our previous couples: Kaleb and Chloe, Zane and V, and the Travis-Kylie-Gage trio as they mature and agonize over the Christmas gift issue.
We also get to see the other Walker brothers--Sawyer, Brendan, Brayden and Ethan as they work through their attractions. So, we get the insight into how their stand-alone books will turn out.
I always love revisiting good characters, so that was a huge plus. And now I know what to expect in the coming books, so I've been successfully teased. Not going to spill things here, but I really hope Ethan pulls his head out of his butt and gets past his closet issues. He's got a loving willing partner just waiting for him!
The beginning was a teeny bit rough for me, only because it is soooo busy, but the smexytimes (both plentiful and imaginative) are deliciously slippery and guaranteed to steam your e-reader.
Alerts: this book is NOT for the kiddos. Pairings are M/F, M/M, M/F/M, M/M/F. No bondage.
This is Alluring Indulgence book 4, I suggest reading the other books in the series to truly be able to connect with the Walkers.
In this wonderful holiday story, The Walker family members are brought together for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve and New Years Day. Nicole Edwards did a beautiful job trapping me on my couch because I loved this story so much, I couldn't put it down. This book re-connected me to the characters I already know and love and helped me learn more about the characters that I didn't know much about, PLUS it gave me a glimpse of what is to come in the upcoming books. I was moved and touched by this family and the steamy scenes...oh, my...in true Nicole Edwards fashion HOT! This book will leave you thinking, wanting and wondering what's next. Storylines are mapped out for the next books in the series and it's just time...I cannot wait!!!
Nicole Edwards dedicated The Holidays with the Walker Brothers to the readers, I was touched, it was a true gift to me. Thank you Nicole, I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season
I am so in love with the entire Walker Family! Nicole your books just keep getting better and better. I was actually busy reading 2 other books the day Holidays with the Walker Brothers was released, bet you know what I did. Yep, threw the other books down to get my much needed Walker fix. And what a fix I received. I have a book hangover that will last weeks!! I am so ready to read Ethan, Sawyer, Brenden and Brayden's stories. I loved getting to know them more in this book, it just makes me love the whole family even more. Travis,Gage and Kylie sizzled. V and Zane were smoking together and Zoey and Kaleb were just as hot as expected. Throw in the twins ménage with Jessie, Ethan and his dilemma with a hot cowboy ( no spoilers from me!!) and Sawyer in all his sweet and charming sexiness and you have one fantastic read? This is hands down a 5 star read...shoot let's aim higher. A 10 star read out of 5! ;) I don't think the next book can come out soon enough.
What can I say I love the Walker Brothers. Who wouldn't want to be a part of their family. I loved the banter between the brothers, the way they joked and picked fun at one another but in the end you always knew they had each other's back. Whether it was a shoulder to lean on or help with Christmas decorations they were there for each other.
But we couldn't forget their significant others. Sexy times are to be had and Nicole knows how to write it. With just a look from these cowboys they could melt your panties off and most of the time they did. Who wouldn't want to be the woman or man in any of these Walker Brother's lives. The way they treat their family and loved ones is something fierce.
I loved getting a glimpse into each of these sexy Walker's thoughts and spending the holidays with them.
As a general rule, I don't read Christmas books outside of December or listen to Christmas music, well ever. But, I decided to be a rebel where this book was concerned. It's not like I'm going to skip it just because I stumbled upon this series kind of late. That would be all kinds of wrong, right?
This book has everything a good holiday story should have -- lots of feel good togetherness, presents, happiness. And like any good erotic romance, lots and lots of hot, delicious sex. I've got to say, Nicole Edwards does know how to write 'em.
Catching up with the Walker clan was lovely, though I did prefer the parts for the brothers whose books were/are not out at the time of this release (so I'm counting Ethan in here), because you get some conflict in there. In fact, it got me even more anxious for the twins stories as well as Sawyer's.
This is Alluring Indulgence book 4 and I seriously loved this book!!!! This is the Walker boys and family getting together for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve and New Years Day. I was sucked in on the first page and did not move until I finished - it was a very welcome catch up with all the members of the family and tantalizing teasers for stories to come - Ethan & Beau, the twins and Jessie and Sawyer!! My favourite brother is Travis and with Gage,I was a very happy bunny to reconnect with them in this story. As always, there are touching moments and holy hawtness, moments where a dip in a deep freeze or a snow pile to cool off were needed!! Cannot wait for the next book - Ethan, this puppy seriously needs sorting out, hopefully Beau will be that man! Yay...fab, fab read!
5+++ super steamy Walker Brothers stars!!!!! I absolutely LOVE this series~ all of the Walker brothers that we have heard from so far are super Alpha, super hot, family oriented, hard working great guys~
I was thrilled when I realized that we would get A Holiday's book with all of the Walker clan in it! Nicole did not disappoint!!!! I was happy to read a little bit from each of the guys and girls POV! A story about romance, family traditions and searching for that perfect Christmas gift!
My favorites are still Gage and Travis, Kaleb and Zane.... of course that will probably change when we get Sawyer, Brendon, Braydon and Ethan's books!!!! :)
This was an unexpected book (for me and it seems for Nicole Edwards too). It was a good way of getting back into the thick of things with the Walker family and catching up. It did feel a little scattered to me though with each chapter jumping from one person to the next. Especially with so many people involved (all 7 Walker brothers, the parents, the wives/fiancee/girlfriends, the brothers friends and even a cousin we had never met before). All I know is that I'm now drooling to read Ethan, the next brother to get his story.
5 I need me a Walker man!! Damn it Nicole Edwards you are making me want to throw all my good sense out the window and lets be honest I'm on thin thread as it is! I loved this book it was fantastic read, catching up with all the Walker men and their passionate loversssssssssss!!! (Obviously I need calm myself down... But fuck it I love me some threesomes). I am absolutely running to read Ethan's story because I just know that I love him already... And Beau!!!! Have mercy I might burst with all my excitement! Ethan you sexy brooding bastard here I come :)
