media controls our socially constructed reality. but is it just media in general or is it the media that you seek out? to agree with the biases you already have. the biggest turn in media was when it went from being consumed to being interactive with the public. there’s less privacy, less facts, more misinformation because we don’t seek out what isn’t shown. remember the media gets paid for your clicks and reads. there’s stuff they aren’t addressing that you have to look into yourself. what’s the real problem? what’s the frame they’re placing this crime into? what’s the background? and how often does this crime actually happen? backwards law! often what you see in the media isn’t what’s most common in the real world. ask questions even when you think you know
