I spent the first years of my life in silence, so I never thought I would crave it again. I live for the moments of solitude now and enjoy animals way more than people. My family says I’m introverted, and in many ways, they’re right. They will never understand how loud this world really is. I may not be deaf anymore, but I’m still treated differently, special and fragile. Until he arrives in the dead of night and makes me feel alive again. When his world is crashing around him, I am the only one he seems to need to make his world right again. When the club disapproves of our relationship, I’m left with only one option, leave the ones holding me back behind because love waits for no one. They just need to remember… Even in your darkest hour, a Sparrow will always guide you home.

I'm a retired 45-year-old Puerto Rican wife and mother of 3 plus 1 bonus daughter. Originally from NYC, now living a quiet life in the south suburbs of Chicago. I enjoy reading and writing romance and erotic fiction. I'm addicted to coffee, sci-fi, and all things Marvel and Harry Potter.

I was a teen mom with a whole world of statistics against me. Every time I was told I couldn't do something, I did it, took pictures, and smiled with my son on my hip for everyone who ever doubted me.

Now, after finding the love of my life in my thirties, we married in the great 2020 pandemic, which shall not be named. We have a house full of teenagers who don't need mommy anymore, and the hubs is a traveling ER nurse, SO I have found myself with a lot of downtime.

After years of having this story taking space in my head, I decided to share it with the world. Gotta say, this writing gig is HARD. But with some time and grace, I'll get it right.

Sparrow is the 6th book in the MorningStar MC: Reno Chapter series by D. Williams. Each book I read from this series keeps surprising me and this one is no different. It's a forbidden romance between a biker and a cop with some royal bloodlines thrown in the mix.
Sparrow has been secretly dating Malachi Nassar because she knows they can't be together because of who he is (cop) and who her family is (MC). She wouldn't tell him about her family so when his co-workers did he judged her by their words. While Malachi tries to reach Sparrow to apologize he's summoned to the Iranian consulate where he finds out his mother was an Iranian princess and there is a marriage contract for him and if he doesn't honor it he will forfeit his inheritance and dowry which he is prepared to do. He has already decided Sparrow is the one for him and will be his wife. Unfortunately for them both that will not be an easy goal to reach. Wolf is against Sparrow being with Malachi, King despises him because of his nationality and Sparrow almost dies. Not to mention Malachi's betrothed's family is not okay with him not fulfilling the marriage contract. The club also finds out the Baezs are still causing trouble. Will her family finally accept Malachi? Can they save each other just for the chance to love each other?
I gave this book a 4-star rating and a 5-spicy rating. It was full of the drama I've come to know and love about this series. Aspen is one hell of a strong woman who has the right to be with whoever she wants after the childhood she had to endure. She's done so much for Wolf, like joining the MC that now it's time to do something for herself. And Malachi is the perfect rock to stand by her side and love every part of her. We're left with 2 cliffhangers at the end, one to do with King and one to do with Shock whose book is next.

Aspens story is one I was excited for and it did not disappoint. After she saves the life of Malachi's beloved K9 partner he is quite taken with the vet, he is heavily pursuing her, and though Aspen is very much attracted to him she knows it would never work. How can a member of the MC, let alone the President's sister be with a cop. But her attraction and his determination absolutely win her over.

Of course the MC isn't thrilled about a cop but there are other issues why they most likely are going to have a hard time with Aspens choice of men. All having to do with what the MC has just gone through and the sensitivity of the trauma their members and wives just faced. It isn't fair but some how Malachi knows he can make it all work. But in the mist of this problem there is a bigger issue that may win and split this couple up before they have a chance and it isn't going to be the MC rejection of a cop.

There as always are so many moving parts and things going on with the MC that you don't know what is going to happen next but I for one know I can't wait till the next book. We know any of the Morningstar MC books are going to be fire, spicy, action packed, romance and lots of moving parts that just keep you on the edge of your seat and flipping those pages.

Malachi and Aspen is really good together. He has obligations and her family isn’t on board with the two of them. I absolutely admire their will to never give in. Excellent writing.

I absolutely love this MC. Malachi will not take no for an answer but Aspen really doesn't want to say no to him. Only problems his is a cop and his heritage will cause issues with her family and there is a huge secret that is about to implode both their lives. I can't say enough good about this author and this series, I have loved it since book one. I highly recommend this story, series and author.

I have been waiting for Aspen's story for a while and it did not disappoint. She's trying to be her own person and just happens to find love where she least expected it. Officer Malachi Nassar and his K-9 partner were one of a kind. Malachi runs into some issues with his family and through out the story he fending off a crazy man and his daughter. Wolf finds himself in some trouble but is quickly gotten out of it. I loved how the OG's were also part of this story. So much action, romance and drama. Loved every minute of it. Another awesome read excited for Shock's story.

Sparrow (MorningStar MC, Reno) by D Williams due 10/23/23 5 stars
Malachi & Aspen/Sparrow

She's the Vet who saved his k9 partner--the sweetest but most vicious dog when after the bad guys. Since the rescue, he's been "stalking" her with gifts and invites. A cop and the sister of the President of an MC. Not such a good match even if he is super hot. There is more that should keep them apart.

Finally, she might give him a chance when family history... let's just say it doesn't make things easier.

While it is a short read, there is plenty going on with old and new characters and believable conflicts. Another book in an amazing series.

This is the 6th book in this amazing series, and this is Malachi and Aspen’s journey. Aspen is trying to be her own person, and is the veterinarian who saves Malachi’s adorable K9, and he is grateful, and presenting her with gifts and invites. Aspen is the sister of the President of an MC, and Malachi is a police officer, how will her brother react to him?
This is a well written story which is a quick read, action packed, and with emotions, family, friendships, twists, challenges, drama, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Aspen has been sheltered by her family most of her life. She helps Officer Nassars partner Foxy the dog. He becomes infatuated with her. She secretly likes him as well. She tries to make it work without him finding out who her family is as well as his family him. Then he has some life altering information dumped on him. Aspen then comes to terms with her feelings and they start fighting for what they want and a life together. I will say that the spice in this one doesn’t happen for a while but officer Nassau doesn’t disappoint when the spice comes. I would recommend it his book to any and everyone!

I have loved the Morningstar MC books from the start, and the second generation is amazing!
We first met Aspen when she was a little girl in Asher's book. Now she's all grown up and a part of the MC herself, albeit to help her brother. She is also a vet. Malachi is a cop who brought his K-9 partner Foxy to the clinic when she's hurt in the line of duty. He falls for the vet and let the excitement commence. He doesn't know who her family is, and they definitely don't know about him. Those aren't the only fireworks that surround this couple.

I love the world that D. Williams has created with these books and, as usual, can't wait to get my hands on the next one!

Love Sparrow's strong character especially with all the heartbreak she has gone through in her life, and how strong the bond is between her and Wolf but also the rest of the MC family. Enter Malachi and Foxy and loads of stressors between him being a cop and his background.
The first meeting of him as her buddy/pal/SO and the tailspin that it occurs is something else and the after effects are so moving.
Add in the previous agreement made between families and the twists in the storyline are amazing and keeps us sucked in right until the very end.

I am loving this series. I love that we got to see Aspen as a kid and know her story from Bear's story and now in this second gen series; it's the whole full circle thing. Now, we got the shock at the end of Spark when we found out just who Sparrow is hiding. I was so excited to see just how this whole thing panned out and I was not disappointed! Danger, violence, some aww moments and of course, nice naughty bits, this was a really good addition to the series. I give this 5 stars.

I loved this story. I usually read a new story as fast as I can and then get upset with myself for being done so soon. However with this one I decided to read it slowly and enjoy the goodness of it. Awesome beginning, middle, and end.
Sparrow had a rough start in life. It seem to get better when she moved with her Uncle as a kid. As an adult she had some tough times. Will life get better for her when she meets Officer Nassar or more chaotic?
Check this one out along with this series and the original MC chapter.

As a vet, Sparrow cares for Malachi's K9 partner. There's an attraction but he's cautious knowing that his coworkers would not welcome her since she's a member of an MC. She knows that her family/MC would feel the same his profession.

I enjoyed seeing how when push came to shove, her family got past it all. The strength between these two people helped them to overcome any outside issues.

4 1/2 stars for me. This story was very entertaining. The cop and the vet who was part of an MC. Sparrow helped care for Malachi's K9 partner. They found a connection but held back because his coworkers would not appreciate her being in an MC, and her family/MC would not appreciate his job nor his background. I loved how, when push came to shove, the MC moved beyond their pasts and Malachi's family. The strength of these two characters to overcome and protect each other blew me away.

I received a copy through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.

This is the sixth book in the MorningStar MC, Reno Chapter series. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from start to finish.
This is a story about a h and H who met when he brought his K-9 partner to the clinic when the dog was hurt in the line of duty. She is a club member and he's a police officer which doesn't mix.
Read to find out what happens.

Wow. I absolutely loved this book. And got excited as there was a dog. I couldn't put book down once started.

I loved Aspen and Malachi together, they just fit so perfectly. They meet because of Foxy but they find love together. They have ups and downs but it all works out.

I can't wait for more.

I really love Aspen and Malachi together! Aspen has had a hard life, but is looking up when she moves in with her uncle as a child. Now that she is grown, she goes by the name of Sparrow. She works as a vet and saves Malachi‘s K9 partner when she is hurt. They hit it off, but Sparrow’s MC family is wary of Malachi. He’s a cop and she’s the sister of the MC president, that’s not a good match. Can they make it work?

Book six in the MorningStar MC Novels, Reno Chapter series. Aspen is a vet. She’s Mc all the way. He’s a cop. Forbidden and dangerous. These are the best love stories. They fight together for their love. I love how she makes him work for it after all she’s a MorningStar Mc princess. Best one.
