ObamaCare is a complex law that will affect every single American. Everyone has an opinion about ObamaCare, but few people actually understand how the Affordable Care Act works. ObamaCare Simplified navigates you through the intricacies of the health care law and explains what it means for you. Whether you are satisfied with your present insurance or seeking to get insured, ObamaCare Simplified informs you of your rights, presents the facts, and will help you make well-informed decisions when it comes to your health care plan.
On 3/23/2010, President Obama signed into law, The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPPACA) or Affordable Care Act. The bill contained more than 2,400 pages. Prior to its signing, a bitter legislative battle ensued. This battle continued, for more than a year. The reason the act is so huge, difficult to understand, springs from the current ins and outs of government-funded health care. The confusion arises because the act references other sections of law. “ObamaCare Simplified,” from Zephyros Press “attempts to make everyone’s understanding of the ACA, easy.”
I don't pay attention to politics in the news because I think it's so biased, it's a waste of time. This book is short and to the point, and not only outlines Obamacare according to classifications (men, women, children, parents with children, elderly, etc), but also gives a brief overview of insurance, social security, medicare and medicaid from their beginnings.
