Maybe cliche to say, but this book changed my life. After being so inspired by this brilliant work, I changed my career path from coral reef ecology to anthropology.

A unique book exploring the fishery, life and traditional knowledge of an island community. The extensive references make it a commendable research work. Good read for all working in the marine fisheries.
